READ: Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection is coming to the Nintendo Switch

We've all been patiently awaiting the September Nintendo Switch Direct and now that it has arrived, the excitement is palpable. With their latest Direct, it looks like Nintendo is ramping up their game with a flurry of releases from the old to the new.

This month's direct began with the confirmation of Overwatch on the Switch coming this October 5th. This comes after weeks of rumours, especially one from Kotaku's Jason Schreier.

But, one of its main highlights is the announcement of new DLC characters for the one of the Top Switch Games, Super Smash Bros. These include Banjoe Kazooie, Terry Bogard, and Mii Costumes of Mystical Ninja's Goemon, POkemon's Team Rocket, Zero from Megaman, and, even Sans from Undertale.

On top of that there's as well as the upcoming release of 20 classic SNES games like F-Zero, Kirby's Dream Course, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario World, Star Fox, and so much more, coming to the Switch on September 5th.
