<p>Fans of the hit TV show Taskmaster should mark their calendars next month.</p>

<p>UK-based studio Scallywag Arcade has finally revealed the release date for Taskmaster VR. The much-anticipated virtual reality adaptation of the series will launch this <strong>June 13th</strong>. The game can be played on Meta Quest and SteamVR this June 13th, developers said.</p>

<p>"Making the transition from TV to VR, the game offers fans and gamers an opportunity to immerse themselves in one of the world’s most popular comedy shows," they said in a press release.</p>

<p>In Taskmaster VR, players will have the choice to become contestants or even the Taskmaster's Assistant. As contestants, they will be thrown headfirst into a 'series of strange and wonderful tasks.' Each is designed to test their ingenuity and problem-solving skills. And even perhaps even their sanity, according to developers.</p>

<p>On the other hand, they can play as Alex Horne (the show's creator and Taskmaster's Assistant) and build their own task in the game's Creative Mode. With a vast array of tools and in-game objects at their disposal, players can build custom challenges. Ranging from surreal scenarios to recreating iconic locations from the Taskmaster House.</p>

<p>"We think the show translates brilliantly into VR," said Keefe. "It's the ideal medium for conveying the chaos and creativity of Taskmaster, we can’t wait for fans and players to step inside this world with us," he added.</p>

<p>Taskmaster VR is developed by Scallywag Arcade. They have also teamed up with Avalon, the award-winning production company behind the BAFTA and National Comedy Award-winning show, for its creation.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, publishers have also started accepting pre-orders for the game.</p>

<p>Ubisoft released their second major free update for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/prince-of-persia-the-lost-crown/">Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown</a>. This “Boss Attack” update introduces challenging new content for players itching for more.</p>  

<p>Boss Attack brings two new boss challenges by talking to Artaban in The Haven. Players can relive iconic moments on Mount Qaf with these replayable bosses.</p> 

<p>Included in this update is the ‘Boss Revenge’ challenge. Players can tackle each boss individually at any difficulty level. Expert players can flaunt their best performances via the in-game scoreboards.</p> 

<p>For those seeking an even greater challenge, the “Boss Rush” mode pits players against all eight main bosses in succession. To ease it up a bit, Amulet and Athra surge adjustments occur between battles.</p> 

<p>Fans of the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/prince-of-persia/">2008 Prince of Persia</a> can get the Prince’s iconic outfit after completing the Boss Rush challenges. Additionally, new fast travel options are available, enhancing the gameplay experience.</p>

<p>This is the second free major update for Ubisoft’s Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown. The first DLC came out last March and introduced Permadeath and Speedruns. The next update arrives this Summer. These updates are part of The Lost Crown’s year-long roadmap.</p> 

<p>A new story DLC is also in the works. It's scheduled to release later this year, the creators said.</p> 

<p>Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown received universal acclaim from critics and gamers. Players lauded the game’s responsive controls and stylish platformer gameplay. <p>What Lydia Knows offers 24 possible endings. These conclusions depend on player decisions across their time in Cypress Ridge. Gameplay involves interacting with various characters and completing mini-games. Players can also unlock new concept art and music tracks from the Outbreak series by playing.</p>

<p>A ‘Scene Studio Mode’ allows players to create and share their own dialogues and scenarios. This encourages players to share their creations to its community.</p>

<p>Alongside ‘What Lydia Knows’ is the other half of this package. ‘Outbreak RPG’ is a turn-based adventure set in a zombie apocalypse. The roguelike twist adds procedurally generated challenges in every run.</p>

<p>KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue acts as a teaser to Kingdom Hearts III’s visual and gameplay overhaul. It follows the story of Aqua after the events of PlayStation Portable’s ‘Birth By Sleep’. The compilation also includes a Remaster of Dream Drop Distance HD and the cinematic version of its mobile game (Back Cover X).</p>

<p>All classic titles receive textural updates to its graphics. It also features all the bonus content from its Final Mix versions.</p>

<p>KINGDOM HEARTS III + ReMind DLC is the final entry of the series’ two-decade long saga. It marks Sora and friends’ dramatic battle against the scheming Master Xehanort. Players who buy this pack can also access ReMind DLC. It takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts III and teases the series’ future.</p>

<p>The INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE bundle contains all the games mentioned above. Purchasing KINGDOM HEARTS III + ReMind DLC or the INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE bundle will give players an exclusive Keyblade called “Dead of Night."</p>

<p>The series is known for its complicated plot and odd naming styles. Players new to the series should play in release order before diving into Kingdom Hearts III.</p>

<p>The sequel to the 2020 game just released on <strong>May 16th</strong>, creators from Maximum Entertainment and Still Running announced.</p>

<p>Titled <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/morbid-the-lords-of-ire/">Morbid: The Lords of Ire</a>, it can be played on PC and consoles. These include PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.</p>

<p>Morbid: The Lords of Ire, like its predecessor, throws players in a hellscape, roaming with grotesque creatures. At the same time, it introduces new features, including upgraded visuals and hack-and-slash elements.</p>

<p>For The Lords of Ire, developers from Still Running decided to depart from the 2D, isometric art style found in The Seven Acolytes. Instead, the new game will have 3D graphics and perspectives.</p>

<p>"Morbid: The Lords of Ire is a continuation and reinvention of the critically acclaimed isometric souls-like ARPG Morbid: The Seven Acolytes from an all-new 3D perspective," said Maximum.</p>

<p>In the game, players reprise the role of the heroic Striver. For The Lords of Ire, developers added new skills and abilities for Striver. This included doing brutal finishers and wielding devastating guard breaks. She also has the ability to unleash the powerful Spectre Blaster to obliterate stronger foes.</p>

<p>On top of these, developers promised to roll out new worlds for players to explore in The Lords of Ire. The game will have five distinct and horrifying environments, they said. And each of them is teeming with monstrous denizens. From desolate wintry mountains to decaying urban landscapes.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the creators also retained several features from The Seven Acolytes for the sequel. Players can expect the return of the game's signature sanity system in The Lords of Ire.</p>

<p>Developed by Lakeview Games and published by Mindscape, Pool Party is a hilarious and chaotic local <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/best/multiplayer/">multiplayer</a> arcade experience for up to four players. They can compete in a variety of physics-based sports and brawl game modes. </p>

<p>Players can jump into going solo or with friends across a range of competitive game modes. These include Pool, Idol, Sumo, Free-for-All, and more. </p>

<p>SEGA on <stribg>May 16th</stribg> just dropped a <a href="https://youtu.be/3zU9d-_s9gU">new gameplay trailer</a> for the family-oriented, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/best/platformer/">platformer</a>. And it gave players a first-ever look into the adorable and hilarious cast of the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/upcoming/">upcoming Switch game</a>.</p>

<p>But there's more. SEGA revealed that new playable characters will join the latest Super Monkey title. In the trailer, they introduced Palette, the lightning-fast adventurer. Adventure Mode throws in a new cast of characters as well. Players will encounter the Gala family – Fes, Tee, and Val. A trio of treasure hunters, their sights set on the same prize: the Legendary Banana.</p>

<p>Like previous installments, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble's core gameplay involved controlling and guiding monkeys encased in capsules. But for the newest title in the series, developers from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio decided to add a new move.</p>

<p>Called the Spin Dash, this will allow players to grant their monkey a quick burst of speed. It can be useful for navigating tricky sections or overtaking opponents, according to SEGA.</p>

<p>On top of its diverse characters, creators of Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble also confirmed that the game will have more room and options for customization. Players can unlock a staggering collection of 300 customization items. These ranged from accessories, clothing and even unique ape balls.</p>

<p>"Many of these snazzy items can be purchased using points earned through gameplay, both locally and online," said SEGA.</p>

<p>The game will also have an Online Battle mode that will offer a daily spin at the Lucky Monkey lottery. This virtual vending machine dispenses capsules containing exclusive items, with more additions promised over time.</p>

<p>Fantastic news for fans of the souls-like genre as well as console owners.</p>

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/deathbound/">Deathbound</a>, the upcoming soulslike title from Trialforge Studio, will also make its way to PlayStation and Xbox. The Brazil-based game-developing company announced that they will expand Deathbound to consoles. In particular, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.</p>

<p>"We’re thrilled to announce that Deathbound will be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S day-in-date with PC," developers wrote on Steam.</p>

<p>TrialForge has also partnered with Polish publisher Tate Multimedia for the game's launch. A release date has yet to be revealed. But creators said the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/upcoming/">upcoming PS5</a> and Xbox Series X game will be rolled out the title <strong>'later this year.'</strong></p>

<p>Deathbound promises to bring a new take in the souls-like genre. Instead of a single hero, players will have a team of four characters at their disposal.</p>

<p>"Our game was designed to be an innovation within the souls-like genre," developers said. "With this feature, you can change warriors from your party at any moment – even during combat and dodging," they added.</p>

<p>The game's lore takes place in the world of Ziêminal, where faith and science clash in a never-ending struggle. While in the middle of a crusade, players find themselves in the city of Akratya. There, they will uncover the story behind the seven Fallen Warriors, whom the players can take control.</p>

<p>According to developers, the key to victory during battles lies in the players' ability to assemble their party of Fallen Warriors. Deathbound's core gameplay revolves around strategic switching between these bound souls mid-combat. And each Fallen Warrior not only has unique combat styles, skills, but also motivations.</p> 

<p>Relationships among the Fallen Warriors can also influence gameplay, developers added.</p>

<p>"Each party member’s affiliation in life will affect their synergy in death," they said.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, TrialForge has already launched a demo version for Deathbound. Players eager to experience the game can access its demo on <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1277130">Steam</a>.</p>
