The Seoul-based subsidiary announced that the game is being developed by <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/space-dive-games/">SPACEDIVE Games</a>, a studio also based in Korea.</p> 

<p>Quantum Knights is an <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/open-world/" title="Best PC open world games">open-world</a> <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/third-person-shooter/" title="Best third-person shooter pc games">third-person hero shooter</a> game expected to launch globally for PC via Steam this year.</p>

<p><q>'Quantum Knights' is aiming to launch its global service within the year,</q> LINE Games wrote.</p>

<p>Publishers recently activated their <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/2210830/">Steam page</a> and hinted at opening a demo version soon.</p>

<p>The publishers said Quantum Knights will join the upcoming Steam Next Fest this October. After which, they will be releasing more information about the game.</p>

<p><q>You can farm magical firearms, complete various missions and dungeons, embark on adventures across a vast land, and build your ultimate squad,</q> the developers described.</p>

<p>The game is set in a medieval fantasy world where magic goes hand in hand with technology.</p>

<p>In it, players become skilled warriors called Volants. As Volants, they can use guns and wield magical powers simultaneously. Playable characters are also divided into different classes. These are the Offensive, Defensive, and Support classes.</p>

<p>Players can also gather, mine, hunt, and craft materials to upgrade their gear. In addition, Quantum Knights offers a variety of PvE and PvP modes for players who want co-op or competitive gameplay. The game will have modes such as Roguelite Mode, Team Deathmatch, and Mana Attrition.</p>

Quantum Knights: A New Hero Shooter to Watch in 2023

<p>Gamers looking to play something nostalgic might not need to look far.</p>

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/alterium-shift/">Alterium Shift</a>, a new retro-inspired title from indie game publisher Gravity Game Arise Co., has just dropped on Steam. The Tokyo-based publisher launched the game via Steam Early Access on July 6.</p>

<p>Drattzy Games LLC, a two-man team from Minnesota, develops the game. Alterium Shift is a turn-based RPG that blends 2.5D graphics, pixel art, and a classic <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/jrpg/">JRPG</a> storyline to reignite the love for the genre.</p>

<p>Publishers have also launched a limited promo for players who can buy the game between July 6 and July 13. They can get discounts of up to 20 percent, Gravity Game Arise added.</p>

<p>According to the <a href="https://store.steampowered.com/app/1586990/Alterium_Shift/">game's Steam page</a>, developers planned to have it in <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/genre/early-access/">Early Access</a> this year. They added that the this edition might extend to 2024 "due to factors like localization and platform porting."</p>

<p>Based on earlier reports, Drattzy Games planned to port Alterium Shift to consoles.</p>

<p><q>Alterium Shift is currently about 50% complete. [And] we plan on providing regular updates throughout the Early Access period,</q> Drattzy Games wrote.</p>

<p>They also disclosed why they decided to opt for an Early Access launch instead of initiating a Kickstarter campaign.</p>

inRun Launching on Steam Early Access in July

<p>Korean game developer and publisher Neowiz announced they would extend the demo for Lies of P. As the company stated in a press release, this gives fans and interested players more time to try the upcoming game.</p>

<p>Neowiz kicked off the demo edition of Lies of P on June 9 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.</p>

<p>The Finland-based studio revealed that work had been underway for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/dysplaced/" title="Dysplaced for PC">Dysplaced</a>. It is a spin on their critically acclaimed zombie-survival title, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/dysmantle/" title="Dysmantle for Android">Dysmantle</a>. The upcoming game will make its way to PC and MacOS soon, 10tons said in a press release. They also said a mobile version would be released soon.</p>

<p>The developers of Dysmantle, 10tons, have revealed that they will use an updated version of their proprietary game engine to create their next game, Dysplaced.</p>

<p>In-game currency, rare items, and exclusive rewards await players who already pre-registered. These included an exclusive pre-registration campaign skin and a weapon mod loadout.</p>

<p>They can also select an SSR character with unique armor, and gain an ability bonus. Players can earn these perks once they completed the fifth chapter of the game.</p>

<p>Like its predecessor, Yomi 2 requires players to "read the minds of their opponents." This means that to emerge victorious, they must analyze their enemies' movements and predict their next moves.</p>

<p>Developers, however, decided to introduce a new element into the fighting card game. They announced that for Yomi 2, players could earn gems. These gems, in turn, can be used to augment their characters' abilities.</p>

<p><q>Augment special moves with one of six gems and shift reality with a momentum-swinging assault to storm an opponent's defenses in various ways,</q> they explained.</p>

<p>Yomi 2's Early Access version will feature nine characters. More playable characters will be added later, as promised by David Sirlin, the founder of Sirlin Games.</p>

Yomi 2 Enters Early Access for PC, MacOS, and Steam Deck

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/the-past-within/">The Past Within</a>, the latest spooky puzzle game in the acclaimed <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/rusty-lake/">Rusty Lake</a> series, will finally hit Switch consoles next month. Indie studio Rusty Lake announced that their game will land on Switch devices on <strong>July 6</strong>. </p>

<p>It is the first game in the series to be released on the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/" title="List of Switch games">Switch console</a>.</p>

<p><q>On July 6, players on Nintendo Switch™ can experience The Past Within and explore The Past or The Future together,</q> Rusty Lake wrote in a statement.</p>

<p>Rusty Lake has also dangled a discount for players who can pre-purchase the game on Nintendo eShop until July 6.</p>

<p>The Past Within, Rusty Lake's 16th installment, was first launched in November 2022. At that time, the game was only playable on PC, MacOS, Android, and iOS. But with the release of the Switch version, Rusty Lake confirmed that players can now enjoy a cross-platform experience.</p>

<p><q>As long as both players have a copy of the game and can talk to each other in some way, they can play on whichever platform they prefer,</q> they explained.</p>

<p>The game's Nintendo Switch debut, Rusty Lake said, also marked another milestone for the popular game series. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/the-past-within/" title="The Past Within for PC">The Past Within</a> has already reached over 1 million downloads on Steam, and an additional 100,000 on <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/the-past-within/" title="The Past Within for Android">Android</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/the-past-within/" title="The Past Within for iPhone and iPad">iOS</a>, they added.</p>

<p>The Path Within is the first co-op exclusive title under the Rusty Lake series. The game features asynchronous point-and-click mechanics. In it, players need to work together to solve the mystery the late Albert Vanderboom has left.</p>

<p>Since its release, the game received critical and commercial success. The PC version has a playscore of 8.4.</p>
