<p>BANKWAVE: Neon Networth puts players in a virtual escape room. It combines elements of dystopian cyberpunk and the nostalgic vibe of retrowave. It promises pixel art, branching storyline, paperwork sim, and retro jazz soundtrack.</p>

<p>This upcoming preview will be available on Steam for both PC and Mac gamers. It will let players experience the first five days of the game. They'll meet eccentric characters and explore the game's immersive world. </p>

<p>In BANKWAVE: Neon Networth, players take the role of a cloned teller forced to work as a customer rep for a megacorp in the heart of a multiverse. They'll have to deal with constant waves of customers, some of whom are part of the branching narrative. Every choices made during the interactions will pay your way to freedom.</p>

<p>The game tackles complex themes such as class, social status, and sentience. Themes that are often found in political satire and dystopian fiction.</p>

<p>The free preview starts at the same time as the Kickstarter fundraising campaign. The developers aim to secure $17,000 to complete the project.</p>

<p>BANKWAVE will arrive on Steam Early Access in the first quarter of 2024.</p>

<p>The game takes place on a drifting spaceship in space. Players have to find and destroy the Gnosia, a dangerous enemy that masquerades as humans. To fight this threat, the crew will identify the most suspicious people and put them to "cold sleep" to eliminate the Gnosia.</p>

<p>Players can play as either a human or a Gnosia. The goal is to win the game by fulfilling the win or lose condition for the role. In the role of a human, the objective is to identify and vote to put all Gnosia into cold sleep. Conversely, as a Gnosia, the goal is to eliminate crew members every night until Gnosia outnumber humans.</p>

<p>GNOSIA unfolds through a series of "loops" that lasts around 15 minutes. At the start of each loop, players will be assigned roles, such as "Crew" or "Gnosia". Character interactions are shaped by factors such as their role, personalities, and trust levels. This results in unique quirks and principles that fuel captivating debates during each loop.</p>

GNOSIA, the critically acclaimed RPG, is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Microsoft Store this December

<p>Developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/behaviour-ineractive/" title="Behaviour Interactive">Behaviour Interactive</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/lunarch-studios/" title="Lunarch Studios">Lunarch Studios</a> announced the open playtest for their <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/upcoming/puzzle/" title="Upcoming Puzzle PC Games">upcoming puzzle</a> <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/upcoming/adventure/" title="Upcoming Adventure PC Games">adventure game</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/islands-of-insight/" title="Islands of Insight on PC">Islands of Insight</a>. The playtest is now available on Steam until September 21, allowing players to experience the game's unique blend of puzzles, exploration, and discovery.</p>

<p><q>We're focused on creating an experience that brings something new and different to the puzzle genre,</q> says Carla Rylance, Head of External Production at Behaviour Interactive. <q>We're still in active development and so players participating in our playtest will be treated to a taste of Islands of Insight's expansive world, game mechanics, and puzzles, with lots still left to discover down the road. Putting the game into players' hands for the first time and getting their feedback is incredibly exciting for us as we continue to build this unique puzzle adventure.</q></p>

<p>The core of the game lies in its captivating landscapes and mysterious puzzles. In <strong>Islands of Insight</strong>, players become Seekers. Seekers go to a fantasy realm as they solve a series of puzzles. The game features various puzzles, from simple logic problems to complex environmental challenges. Players must use their wits and creativity to solve these puzzles and progress through the game.</p>

<p><q>Each of our puzzles is carefully placed and thoughtfully crafted to be relaxing, challenging, and satisfying to find and solve,</q> adds Rylance. <q>They also vary in difficulty, making this both a welcoming experience for newcomers, and an engaging one for more seasoned puzzle fans.</q></p>

<p>During the open playtest, participants will have the chance to:</p>

 <li>Go on a quest to solve a diverse array of puzzles scattered across the landscape.</li>
 <li>Explore an open world filled with secrets to uncover at their own pace,</li>
 <li>Advance in the game's campaign by solving puzzles, unlocking new areas, and discovering lore.</li>
 <li>Share feedback with the development team to improve the Islands of Insight experience.</li>
</ol>
