<p>Developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/atlus/" title="ATLUS">ATLUS</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/vanillaware/" title="Vanillaware">Vanillaware</a> announced the launch date for their <a href="https://whatoplay.com/upcoming/rpg/" title="Upcoming RPG Games">new fantasy RPG</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/unicorn-overlord/" title="Unicorn Overlord on PS4">Unicorn Overlord</a>. It's coming out on <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/unicorn-overlord/" title="Unicorn Overlord on Switch">Switch</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/unicorn-overlord/" title="Unicorn Overlord on PS5">PlayStation</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-series-x/unicorn-overlord/" title="Unicorn Overlord on Xbox Series X|S">Xbox</a> on March 8, 2024.</p>

<p>Created by the same team as <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/13-sentinels-aegis-rim/" title="13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on PS4">13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/dragons-crown-pro/" title="Dragon's Crown on PS4">Dragon's Crown</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/dragons-crown-pro/" title="Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir on PS4">Odin Sphere</a>, Unicorn Overlord features an innovative battle system in the iconic Vanillaware art style, combining overworld exploration with tactical combat.</p>

<p>The game is set in a vibrant world where players can traverse the land. Players can build a powerful army with over 60 unique characters and gain fame throughout the five nations.</p>

<p>Fans can opt for the Collector’s edition of Unicorn Overlord. This edition includes the physical game, a Premium Edition Box, a 16-bit BGM Soundtrack CD (comprising two discs with ten tracks each), a 132-page artbook, and an original card game with 239 cards, tokens, and markers.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the Collector’s edition will treat players to the ATLUS X Vanillaware Heraldry Pack, a pre-order DLC that allows customization of the Liberation Army’s flag with emblem designs from Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.</p>
