A few hours in and I love the game, at times it provides a good challenge and you can go off and do your own thing if you want. But sometimes the mechanics and movement can't be weird, if we also had the ability to change the controls to our preference it would defenitly get a higher rating!

For the price thief sim is a enjoyable game and definitely a first for me. Unfortunately I couldn’t give it a higher rating as I feel it is somewhat lacking a few things. Firstly I think the items your stealing at the beginning are somewhat petty. Saucepans and breaking toilets seems like high risk, for very little rewards. Personally I think they should of done it as items such as designer shoes or hats, which you can’t take in the game. Would of made it feel more realistic. Secondly, I was disappointed by the police chase mechanics. Feel like it should be set so you can’t quick jump back to hideout, until you have lost the police, making it feel more open world, instead of a small area. Finally again, it is advertised as an open world, but I don’t feel like that is the case. I feel rather directed. Having to physically drive back to the hideout or the pawn shop, would add to it. The world doesn’t necessary be huge. But it would definitely feel more open world, and give u a chance to feel the driving mechanics of the game. Overall it’s a half decent game, worth checking out if you are looking for a sim game to play. But don’t expect a great deal from it. Definitely a game that fits the price in the store though.
