We’re going back to the world of Chocobos. XVI takes place in a world where kingdoms are ruled by powerful leaders that wage wars for supremacy…ala Game of Thrones. What’s most exciting about is its crazy fast gameplay. No more waiting this time… we’re going full Dante from Devil May Cry. Just look at that. Even with all the hacking and the slashing, it promises characters and a story worth our time.

But the trailer gave us enough hype for this new direction.
