<p>Though <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/capcom">Capcom</a> has found success with remakes for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/resident-evil-2">Resident Evil 2</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/resident-evil-3">Resident Evil 3</a>, a lot of fans were curious about how the story will move forward. We had gotten an announcement for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/resident-evil-village">Resident Evil Village</a> last year, and now Capcom has given us a new look at RE: Village with a new trailer plus some gameplay.</p>

<p>With Resident Evil 3 coming with a team-based online multiplayer called RE: Resistance, Village is also going to release its own multiplayer title called Resident Evil Re: Verse. That also has its own trailer here:</p>

<p>PlayStation 5 owners are also in for a treat as Capcom has released a demo for Resident Evil Village called Maiden, and it will have players take control of a character who isn’t Ethan Winters exploring the setting of RE: Village. The demo will serve as a side story to the main game, and is now available for download. Don’t expect any action though, as this demo will be mostly about exploring and not combat.</p>

<p>Resident Evil Village is set to come out for the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps5/resident-evil-village" title="Resident Evil Village on PlayStation 5">PS5</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/resident-evil-village" title="Resident Evil Village on PlayStation 4">PS4</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/resident-evil-village" title="Resident Evil Village on Xbox One">Xbox One</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-series-x/resident-evil-village" title="Resident Evil Village on Xbox Series X and S">Xbox Series X|S</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/resident-evil-village" title="Resident Evil Village on PC">PC</a> on May 7.
