The main content is to bring the key features of medieval tournament into online PvP with supporting of VR controllers. Key features: Fencing with sword, shield, flail, polearm and etc. Archery Jousting
Online PvP
Currently only support One on One online duel with physics feature. Online PvP features total 8 maps at the moment for Playtest version, more will be coming.
PvP Latency
Latency is inevitable in Online gameplay, and Host player has Advantage Of No Latency. In order to make online Match a FAIR FIGHT, the game ensures that both host player and client player fight at the same latency level, which means no matter how much lagging client player find between hit and inflicting damage, it would be the same for the host player. For the best experience, please try to play with people in the same city.
Is there Singleplayer Content?
Yes, there are two singleplayer levels: Training Mission: it's a simple map of village with dozens of training bots for new player to get started. Challenge Mode - Island Raid: It's a procedural generated random island with more bandits and villages, there would be a different island everytime you play. It's for player to gain some extra credits and xp. More Challenge is in development. Demo Version: Only Knight and a basic horse is playable. Three online maps, Training Mission and Island Raid Challenge is available, but PROGRESS ARE NOT SAVED. Seven weapons are provided immediately on the weapon table, player is locked into Tier 3. To report bugs please post them on Discord where I answer questions most of time. Discord Server: https://discord.gg/RPMNvr49cu
How Does Game Work
Starting Up: New player start with no weapon and no armor, after few matches with fists fighting, player will reach Tier 1 which is the minimum tier required to access Armoury Board. Progressing: Player will gain xp and credit points from each match either win or lose. XP is required to level up to higher tier to gain access of higher Tier of weapons and armors. Credit points are needed to buy the accessible weapons. Match System: In Tier Match, player can only join games hosted by player with same or higher tier. In Free Match, no restriction on Tier which mean more xp and credit point for lower Tier players. Combat System: Physics: weapons will clash and slide on each other, so once weapon slides it is dynamic where it will land eventually, so try to make sure opponents' weapon to slide AWAY FROM you not CLOSE TO you in any clashing scenario. Damage: Only Head and Body damage will kill a player. Damage on limbs will only cripple them, player with crippled arms can still slam the flail-like arms to do brawling damage. Player will fall flat on the ground and become immobile with crippled leg, and this is a good time to finish him off. Anti-Spamming System: All attacks need to swing a reasonable distance with certain impact velocity to register damage. Wiggling weapons won't do No Damage. Armour: Offers sectional protection which mean helmet only protects head, chest armour only protects torso, and etc. Armours provides best protection again cutting/slashing, poor protection against stabbing, and worst protection against blunt weapon. Weapon: Hitting on the edge of the blade will do cutting damage, on the pointy tip of the weapon will do stabbing damage, on the flat side the blade will only do minimum basic damage. Generally, hand guard and hilt of two-handed weapons can do some blunt damage, the bigger weapon, the higher blunt damage. For example, a player with armored forearms will take extremely long time to cripple them by simply cutting and slashing, try hit armour with hilt or hand guard to do higher damage but risk is also higher. Game Status; Game is still WIP. More will be coming.

*The game is still under development, the English localization is not completely ready, there may be some translation errors and untranslated texts in the demo, we will update it as soon as possible! As an RTS strategy game, Deep Dark Forest includes elements of exploration and expansion, combat, construction, technology development, and management. But the gameplay design inspired by the "Dark Forest" law in the famous science fiction novel: "The Three-Body Problem", differs the game from the traditional RTS operation of troop combat, with more emphasis on the collection and analysis of information, and the choice of strategic choices. In this universe with the "Dark Forest" law, players need to carefully build economic, scientific research, and military facilities and choose the congressional bill to meet the situation, to improve the economy, develop technology, protect the people, and maintain social stability. However, although the universe is infinite, the resources in a certain area are always limited. In order to survive, exploration, colonization, and expansion are inevitable steps. Sending out exploration satellites to gradually explore the unknown areas around; building military bases, spaceports, and other facilities for force invasion and immigration, how to balance resources, and deciding the direction of science and technology is crucial. And in the process of development, expansion and war, it will certainly be accompanied by the problem of depleted resources, reduced cohesion and increased pressure of social opinion. If these problems are out of control, your civilization will fall apart from within. How to balance all aspects, depends on the player's wisdom. However, because of the "Dark Forest" law, all civilizations will deliberately hide their traces and information in the universe. Such as the environment of their galaxy, the state of civilization, and their actions of each round, the player will have very limited access to information. Therefore, by developing technology and exploring, players need to try their best to collect and integrate information and make decisions at the strategic level. Especially when you encounter a civilization, do you want to stay silent and hide in the shadows, or do you want to communicate with it and risk exposing your coordinates to gain more information and benefits? Your decision will affect the survival of the civilization. For an unknown civilization in the universe, if it is just a fleet attack, highly developed technology level may be able to help you detect the actions of the other side, defend your homeland and win the war. But what if it's a mass bomb big enough to destroy the galaxy? Or what about an almost unstoppable light particle attack? Whether your civilization believes in science or gods, whether you are a galactic dictator or leader of the united nations, whether you rule by force or govern the galaxy peacefully, the exposure of coordinates means that your civilization is in danger of destruction at any moment. Of course, you can also broadcast your rival civilization's coordinates, hide in the shadows and let others help you to take down your enemies. Hidden and exposed, peace and war, friendship and betrayal, your civilization, your decision. The future of civilization is in your hands. When a friendly greeting comes from a distant galaxy, will you respond or remain silent? The civilization that triumphs is not necessarily the most powerful civilization, but the one that hides the deepest dark corner and lives to the end! Deep Dark Forest hopes to give you a true sense and understanding of the laws of the "Dark Forest", and to show you how opaque information is in the world of the "Dark Forest".

With different from the previous RTS strategy games.

The design of the "Dark Forest" from the "Three Bodies" brings a unique gaming experience.

The information is highly hidden and needs to be collected and analyzed by the player.

A wide variety of technology brings different strategy options.

Up to 8 players can play against each other in PVP, so you can experience the most realistic "Dark Forest".

Ten single player chapters with unique stories

A civilization creation system that allows you to create unique civilizations with different types and numbers of ideas according to your preferences

10 different civilization trends (exclusive skills/technology, etc.) and over 90 combinations of trends

More than 170 unique civilization stories can be created

35 types (500+) of technologies to develop and upgrade

Fast-paced, high-intensity confrontation, 30-60min/game

Completely randomly generated maps, making every battle a different experience.
