The next Ratchet & Clank game has been hyped up since before the release of the PS5. With the June release date looming, PlayStation has dropped a new State of Play showcasing Rift Apart.

While the world of Ratchet & Clank is filled to the brim with cartoonish characters, you can see that Insomniac Games has done their best with the environment. They've made everything as realistic as possible, making good use of the PS5's power. You can see that the screen is just populated with hundreds of ships and people, and you get to transition from one world to another at the drop of a hat.
Though Insomniac has been getting a lot of attention with their Spider-Man games, it looks like they’re jumping in on this resurgence of classic video game mascots. The big question is: when are Jak & Daxter going to make their comeback?
