<p>This update also brings cross-playability when it comes to <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc" title="PC Games">PC</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one" title="Xbox One Games">Xbox</a> players. You can now team up with your friends across platforms to fight for the survival of humanity against the Root.</p> 

<p>While the game may borrow mechanics from the Souls games, it does bring something new to the table when it comes to the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/best/third-person-shooter" title="Best PC Third Person Shooter Games">third-person shooter</a> element. Players will be able to wield up to two guns, a main weapon, a side arm, plus a melee weapon.</p>
