Gamescom Opening Night Live has come and gone, delivering a slew of exciting game announcements and trailers for eager fans. The pre-show kicked off the show and set the stage for the main 2-hour presentation that began.
This year's showcase did not disappoint, delivering a diverse lineup of big game reveals and updates. Some highlights from the showcase include the announcement of Borderlands 4, an extended look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and the surprise reveal of Mafia: The Old Country.
Aside from big game reveals, the Gamescom Opening Night showcase also showed off a few new trailers for games scheduled to release this year and the next.
The showcase also revealed Amazon Prime Video's new animated anthology series, Secret Level. The series, led by the creators of Love, Death & Robots, will be set within the worlds of popular video game franchises. It will be a 15-episode series featuring games like Pac-Man, Warhammer 40,000 and various titles from PlayStation's best hits.
