<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/biomutant">Biomutant</a> finally gets a release date. After the game was initially announced by THQ Nordic back in 2017, this massive open world game is finally ready to launch sometime later in the year.</p>

<p>As per THQ Nordic’s official announcement, Biomutant is now set to come out on May 25, 2021. While we don’t have that much new details on the game yet, we should expect more reveals in the upcoming weeks.</p>

<p>Fans had gotten their first look at Biomutant way back in 2017. Developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/experiment-101">Experiment 101</a> had planned a tentative release in 2019. The title was then delayed to mid-2020; but seeing as how everything was delayed for that year, Biomutant is now set to come out in the middle of 2021.</p>

<p>Biomutant promises a massive open-world filled with anthropomorphic animal characters, and players will be able to customize and explore different planets in this mix of fantasy and science fiction. There’s also a heavy emphasis on a martial arts-style combat system, and players will find themselves going up against huge (and wonderfully designed) monsters.</p>
