<p>After the success that was their Joker Stickman Vegas games, HGTank comes back with a new game--this time, in the shoes of a man in a superhero suit. It's the same kind of city simulation that they're known for, except with better graphics and, apparently, smoother controls.</p> 

<p>While it has more than a million downloads and four stars to its name, it may be an acquired taste though. And although it’s an    improvement over the studio's last game, it's still pretty underwhelming by normal game standards--especially considering its dated controls and tireless ads.</p> 

<p>An oddity that may be up your alley, it received a gamerscore of 9.15</p>

<h2>14. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/hero-rescue-unique-puzzle/">Hero Rescue - Unique Puzzle</a></h2>

<p>Something a little bit more normal. A <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/puzzle/">puzzle game</a> from <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/upland/">Upland</a>, Hero Rescue lets you help a knight fulfill his chivalric duties, going through castle to castle to find gems and rescue the princess. The thinking is up to you though. In more than 300 levels, the game challenges you to take out keys in the best order to keep the knight safe to do the tasks at hand.</p> 

<p>It's a very simple game, but with hundreds of levels, it can give you that satisfaction of a puzzle completed for hours on end. Receiving only ratings from gamers, it receives a score of 9.18</p>

<h2>13. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/rumble-hockey/">Rumble Hockey on Android</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/rumble-hockey/">iOS</a></h2>

<p>From the makers of <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/rumble-stars/">Rumble Stars Football</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/frogmind/">Frogmind Games</a> leaps at the opportunity of bringing us another anthropomorphic take on a popular <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/sports/">sport</a>. Not all that far from their football counterpart, it's the same mechanics of working the puck around the field with your talented animal team to score goals against your opponent.</p> 

<p>Train your team, join clubs, and show off your skills in many versus matches. Using the same friendly animals and visuals, it's got the same charm as Rumble Stars Football.</p> 

<p>If you're a big of a fan of hockey, this is a mobile must-have and it receives a gamerscore of 9.18 on the iOS, and 8.60 on the Android</p>

<h2>12. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/1v1lol-online-building-and-shooting-simulator/">1v1.LOL - Online Building & Shooting Simulator on Android</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/1v1lol/">iOS</a></h2>

<p>Once a popular browser shooter, the 1v1s have finally made it to the android mobile platforms. Think of it as a more lightweight <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/fortnite/">Fortnite</a> alternative where you have to balance both building and shooting to win the game.</p> 

<p>Just like its browser counterpart, it's got a surprising amount of features. Go to justbuild mode to sharpen your reflexes and skills on your own, or <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/online/">go online</a> and fight against players around the globe. Go on classic 1v1s, head to the deathmatches in the battle royale mode, or <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/multiplayer/">team up in 2v2s and 4v4s</a>.</p> 

<p>Offering function over form, gamers definitely loved it, earning it a score of 9.19</p>

<h2>11. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/jade-sword/">Jade Sword on Android</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/jade-sword/">iOS</a></h2>

<p>There are plenty of <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/mmorpg/">MMORPGs</a> out there and this month, our main distraction is Jade Sword, a graphically beautiful <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/mmo/">MMO</a> set in a fairyland that's filled to brim with gorgeous oriental aesthetics. While it has an abundance of bosses to bring down and loot to collect, what makes this game different is its quest to find love.</p> 

<p>Unlike most MMOs, love is also a central part of the gameplay, offering lots of features for players who found the love of their online lives. Set-up the wedding ceremonies, have babies, and basically ride into the eastern sunset with your new boo.</p> 

<p>It has a gamerscore of 9.19</p>

<h2>10. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/dop-draw-one-part/">DOP: Draw One Part</a></h2>

<p>Don't let this game's simplistic graphics deceive you. At the heart of it lies a deeply entertaining puzzler that you can either breeze through or leave you scratching your head. As its title suggests, all you have to do is draw one part, completing the 2D pictures, and making it through the level. While the first few levels are easy enough, there will be a few that will test how well you know about the ordinary objects around us.</p> 

<p>As always with free games, there may be a few ads to sit through, but they're sparse enough to still enjoy the game's over 200 levels. It receives a gamerscore of 9.19</p>

<h2>9. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/dynasty-heroes-legend-of-samkok/">Dynasty Heroes: Legend of SamKok</a></h2>

<p>For more games with that definitive Asian flavor, Dynasty Heroes is a tactical <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/rpg/">RPG</a> which explores the themes of the classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Rewrite the sands of time with their range of heroes and characters from the historical text. Create your team of warriors, equip yourself with the most appropriate weapons, and use your tactical wits to hit enemies with the best possible combos.</p> 

<p>It's a highly satisfying <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/adventure/">adventure</a>. Knock down the walls of each kingdom in this game with a gamerscore of 9.19</p>

<h2>8. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/katana-master/">Katana Master on Android</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/katana-master/">iOS</a></h2>     

<p>Wield the power of the katana in this <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/action/">new casual action game</a>. There isn't really much actual fighting. As you face opponents in increasingly difficult levels, you only have the power of timing at your disposal. Time your taps for the optimum level of attack, and watch it unfold in powerful multi-hit attacks.</p> 

<p>You'll also have some powerups at the side too, which you can avail for a few seconds of ads. These come in very handy as you go through the bosses which, from the beginning, will be difficult to beat without them.</p> 

<p>It gets a gamerscore of 9.26</p>

<h2>7. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/stick-super-hero/">Stick Super: Hero</a></h2>

<p>Now for some actual fighting. It might not actually be that big of an upgrade in terms of graphics from the last game, but this time you'll actually be involved in some action. Playing as stick figures dressed in superhero costumes, fight your way through their varying game modes.</p> 

<p>Whether its the story mode which pits you against increasingly harder heroes, or versus mode to test your skills against real-life reflexes--it's gonna be all fun, landing punches, timing blocks, and releasing your Kraken of an ult.</p> 

<p>Packed with comic book aesthetics and lots of microtransactions, it has a gamerscore of 9.37</p>

<h2>6. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/lucky-plane-merge-and-idle-winner/">Lucky Plane - Merge & Idle Winner</a></h2>

<p>Some people just have way too much time on their hands. If you're one of those people, then this game from <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/heron-studios/">Heron Studios</a> just might be for you. There really isn't much to it, other than being an <a href="https://whatoplay.com/new/idle/">idle game</a> layered with a simple pairing mechanic.</a> 

<p>The goal isn't really to expand your hangar, it's to just keep upgrading. Select pairs, get that swanky new plane type and spend the next minutes recreating it to get the next one. Patience and boredom is the main factor here as progress slows to a halt, and you'll be forced to choose between staring at the screen for a few minutes or coughing up a few bucks for the next upgrade.</p> 

<p>Still, somehow it earns itself a gamerscore of 9.37</p>

<h2>5. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/my-cat-attract-wealth/">My Cat - Attract Wealth</a></h2>

<p>There's something fishy going here. Despite having pretty much the same basic mechanics and presentation, the past two games have not been from the same developer. In any case, of the two, it's this one that seems more forgivable, only by the mere fact that it's...all about cats--and boy are they cute.</p> 

<p>Seeming like a play on the famous Japanese lucky cat icon, keep merging cats and be rewarded with a face of a brand new adorable cat. It receives a gamerscore of 9.38</p>

<h2>4. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/zombie-sweeper-action-puzzle/">Zombie Sweeper: Minesweeper Action Puzzle</a></h2>

<p>Our next game has a bit more heft than our other games. Putting a bit more effort into flair, this game puts an undead twist to the minesweeper formula. Tap carefully on their grid of boxes to find the zombies, and deploy the special task forces to bring them down.</p> 

<p>The simplicity of the original game is still there, but the fresh cartoon makeover does make it that much more enjoyable to play. Taking minesweeper from the grave and giving it a new look, it gets a gamerscore of 9.39</p>

<h2>3. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/city-of-desire/">City of Desire</a></h2>

<p>In the City of Desire, there is only one rule: RULE IT. Here, you'll be able to fulfill your wildest power-tripping dreams. Not only do you get to exercise power over most parts of the city as the Mayor of the City, but you'll also get to...date your secretary.</p> 

<p>Morality is clearly not the core of this title, and perhaps you can take all the actions you make here as telltale signs of evil. Or you can be one of the good ones.</p> 

<p>Despite the shifty conduct, it's actually a pretty full-featured title, with sandbox gameplay that will keep you entertained for long. It has a gamerscore of 9.62</p>

<h2>2. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/wordy-word-wordscape-free-and-get-relax/">Wordy word - wordscape free & get relax</a></h2>

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/word-trivia/">Word games</a> never go out of style. With <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/wordscapes/">Wordscapes</a> still being a go-to for word lovers, it never has a shortage of clones. This is one of them. It uses basically the same mechanics: find all the words you can form from the given letters from their grid to complete the level. The only difference here is that this game has more than a few ads to serve up to for every completed level.</p> 

<p>It's not the greatest experience, and you'll probably be better off with another game. But, by its basest mechanics and presentable visuals alone, it earned itself a gamerscore of 9.98</p>

<h2>1. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ios/spongebob-krusty-cook-off/">SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off</a></h2>

<p>The only game that earned a full playscore last May, Spongebob has had a lot of cooking for us. While it might not be too different from most cooking games, the added Bikini Bottom splash makes it worthwhile for any fan of the series.</p> 

<p>Dive down into the waters and prepare all sorts of wacky dishes for your chums under the sea. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/android/spongebob-krusty-cook-off/">Already released on the Android</a>, this will be a welcome treat for any iOS users who want to put themselves in the shoes of the always enthusiastic sea sponge.</p>

	<p>Opening this list is constantly a part of Steam’s Top 50 Most-Played Games. To this day, the game still has enough of a player base that if compared to most <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/mmo/">MMOs</a>, it’s pretty above average.</p> 

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/sandbox-interactive/">Sandbox Interactive</a>'s Albion Online borrows notable features of known MMOs. PvE, PvPs, Guild Warfares, they have it. Despite a myriad of similarities, Albion tries to make itself different by injecting its in-depth player economy. Players can even go tending to their farm and homestead if they need a break or extra cash. It’s no easy feat, as the path of success in every <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/mmorpg/">MMORPG</a> is of course, the grinding.</p> 

<p>There’s a whole lot of potential in its character customization as well, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to fully experience the world Albion has to offer. And the best of all, it’s free.</p>

<h2>9. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls-online-tamriel-unlimited/">The Elder Scrolls Online</a></h2> 

	<p>Say what you will about <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/bethesda-game-studios/">Bethesda</a>, but their take on the MMORPG formula is handled pretty well in The Elder Scrolls Online. Embark on your own fantasy-epic adventure similar to your debaucheries in the previous TES titles.</p>

<p>This time you get to fully explore the massive world of The Elder Scrolls with your created character, unfortunately, blocked by a paywall. ESO isn’t a free game, but since its release way back 2014, the game is constantly updating with more expansions and story-content.</p> 

<p>It’s a time-vacuum machine for hardcore MMORPG players, despite Bethesda’s aggressive microtransactions and pricey add-ons. Its latest expansion, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/the-elder-scrolls-online-greymoor/">Greymoor</a>, lets you discover the bloody history of Tamriel with its new antiquities system and vampires.</p>

As a sandbox title, the world is limitless and the only limit to what you can create is your imagination. Provided you have the time and resources to do that, of course.</p> 

<p>Boundless also enhances its playground experience with its seamless cross-play feature. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/multiplayer/">Playing with friends or other players</a> is the game’s best feature.</p>

<h2>7. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/eve-online/">Eve Online</a></h2>

	<p>Speaking of boundless, this space MMORPG from <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/ccp/">CCP Games</a> takes you to the infinite vacuum of space. What sets Eve Online apart from the other titles on this list is its galactic exploration. You’re not constrained to a peaceful Eden full of flora and fauna. <p>As a 2011 game, it has been through a LOT. As gaming continues to evolve over the years, TERA has its fair share of improvements including graphics and gameplay upgrades. <p>It’s still in its Early Access, so there’s still a lot of things to work on. However, despite its early stages, the game is receiving positive reviews from various outlets and gamers itself. It has a playscore of 8.12</p>

	<p>2011 was a long time ago and the Star Wars franchise keeps expanding over the years. And throughout its story, light and dark are in a power struggle for domination. Literally a realm reborn, this brand new FFXIV experience ushered FF fans into a hub for their own Final Fantasy adventures that only got better with each successive patch.</p> 

<p>Its latest, Shadowbringers, takes players to a whole new dimension with the addition of new jobs, story arc and more.</p> 

<p>As a subscription-based game, it demands time and your money to completely enjoy its content. Showered with constant updates, it has been a constant enjoyment that's only evolved for the better through the years.</p>

	<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/blizzard/">Blizzard</a> may not be in its best state right now, but you can’t deny the massive influence of their MMORPG masterpiece.</p>

<p>Over the years, World of Warcraft has generated countless stories, characters and various forms of media due to its expansive lore.</p> 

<p>With seven massive expansions, it’s intimidating for new players to begin their journey, it does have a strong and loyal community that continues to push the game to new heights. And just to be clear, we are not talking about classic WoW.</p> 

<p>Considered as one of the oldest MMORPGs ever, only a handful of young players roam its lands. Most are middle-aged people who’ve been through this game since time immemorial. A playscore of 8.22</p> 


<h2>1. <a href="">Guild Wars 2</a></h2> 

	<p>Dethroning Blizzard’s magnum opus is its free-to-play rival.</p>  

<p>Guild Wars 2 is no different from all the games on this list, you create your own character and put him to a massive high-fantasy world. However, its creators strive to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd. This includes its impressive dynamic questing which lets players take on missions with a high degree of freedom.</p> 

<p>Apart from that, its complex battle system involves magic mastery and manipulating the environment around you to get the upper hand. The land of Tyria is riddled with danger, but GW2’s community is always around to help fresh adventurers.</p> 

<p>Its most recent expansions, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/guild-wars-2-path-of-fire/">Path of Fire</a> and Living World, adds new mounts and class specializations so that you can explore the world of Guild Wars without fear. But you have to pay for it.</p>

<h2>1. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/trackmania-nations-remake/">Trackmania Nations Remake</a></h2>

<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/ubisoft/">Ubisoft</a> has big things planned for their Trackmania Nations remake. More than a decade after its first release, this remake hopes to undo the mistakes of the first game--mainly the fact that it was overrun by ads, and that nobody cared for anything other than their campaign.</p> 

<p>In this new Trackmania Nations, the first change will be converting it into a live service, which offers daily track selections, frequent updates, and an enhanced track creator. Assuming there won't be any more ads, this will more than makeup for their past shortcomings, allowing players to keep coming back for more content, even after their amazing campaign experience.</p>

<p>Adding a new layer to a game already known for its expansive content, this just might be the change that the title needed and it’s coming out on the PC on July 1st.</p>


<h2>2. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/marvels-iron-man-vr/">Marvel’s Iron Man VR</a></h2>

<p>We get to see Tony Stark alive in a different way with the coming of this <A href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/exclusive/">PS4 exclusive</A> VR title. Put on the famous Iron Man suit and fly through the skies in battles with drones, and a "ghost" from Tony's past. With so many VR games giving people a literally dizzying experience, it makes Marvel's Iron Man feel ambitious thanks to the unpredictable rolls and flicks of sky-high combat.</p> 

<p>We'll see how it actually plays when it comes out on July 3rd.</p>


<h2>3. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/skater-xl/">Skater XL on PC</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/skater-xl/">PlayStation 4</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/skater-xl/">Xbox One</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/skater-xl/">Switch</a></h2>

<p>Indie developers <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/easy-day-studios-pty-ltd/">Easy Day Studios</a> is doing its part to keep the skating genre alive and well. While it might not be the Skate 4 game that we've been looking forward to, Skater XL holds the fort well.</p> 

<p>With its focus on physics and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/simulation/">skateboard simulation</a>, it makes it perfect for skaters and skater enthusiasts that want to recreate real-life tricks in a digital environment.</p> 

<p>At first glance, its graphics aren't exactly impressive, and the fact that they're skating in empty streets makes it feel like a COVID scenario. But, its realistic tricks and smooth physics would make any skating enthusiast curious.</p> 

<p>Featuring Downtown Los Angeles, rush down Broadway, or grind down the rails of their historic sites, all along with their roster of true blue skaters. It might have some competition with the Tony Hawk remakes, but this is definitely still worth checking out.</p> 

<p>It’s releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on July 7th.</p>


<h2>4. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/nascar-heat-5/">NASCAR Heat 5 on PC</a>, <a href="">PlayStation 4</a>, and <a href="">Xbox One</a></h2>

<p>And we have another release that comes with a new season of NASCAR racing. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/nascar-heat-4/">NASCAR Heat 4</a> has received some great reviews from players last time, and now we'll see how this latest installment will hold up series' expectations. Compared to Heat 4, it doesn't really bring as much to the table. Aside from the 34 tracks, Heat 5 will also have two brand new modes in the competitive challenge and a testing mode that will make perfecting your setups that much easier.</p> 

<p>Hopefully it delivers when it comes out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this July 10th.</p>

<p>The Sword Art Online fanbase has plenty to celebrate, what with the coming of this adaptation of the anime's original storyline. This will be the first time players will get to experience Kirito's adventures in the mysterious virtual world of the Underworld in a brand new light. This may not be the first Sword Art Online Game, this will be the first with an all-out experience for anime fans, packed with intense battles, stunning <a href="https://whatoplay.com/upcoming/jrpg/">JRPG</a> visuals, and an expansive world to roam around in. But, on top of all that, it'll also have a <a href="https://whatoplay.com/upcoming/multiplayer/">multiplayer mode</a> that lets you play around with up to three different friends.</p> 

<p>A treat for old fans and new, it's coming out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on July 10th.</p>

<p>The new formula one season has made its start so <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/codemasters/">Codemasters</a> follows suit with a spanking new entry for their flagship F1 series. For this year's installment, we'll be taking a look at a handful of new features.</p> 

<p>The biggest news of all should be the My Team mode, something completely separate from their career-mode, and which will take players into the role of drivers slash managers. In My Team, you're expected to be the expert of both being behind the wheel as well as the behind the scenes details of F1 racing management.</p> 

<p>F1 2020 will also take new leaps forward in terms of handling, offer fixes to some of the connectivity issues of the last entry, and welcome the return of split-screen <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/racing/">racing</a>.</p> 

<p>While we’ll witness all these awesome new features on the latest-gen consoles too, PC and current console owners should be happy to take it for a spin on July 10th.</p>


<h2>7. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/deadly-premonition-2-a-blessing-in-disguise/">Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise</a></h2>

<p>The second installment of <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-360/deadly-premonition/">Deadly Premonition</a> is almost here and if its trailer is something to go by, it's about to bring its brand of weirdness into a whole new kind of environment.</p> 

<p>If Deadly Premonition felt like a Twin Peaks meets Resident Evil, then this latest entry will blow our minds with its True Detective-like vibe.</p> 

<p>The trailers don't give us too much information, but according to a Nintendo Direct, this sequel will connect the series's past and present through the story of FBI agent Francis York Morgan. Deal with inter-dimensional elements in a non-linear narrative and meet some of the characters from the old game.</p> 

<p>With the first game getting a lot of flak from critics for its awful mechanics, this upcoming installment will hopefully offer a better overall experience.</p>

Improving on the original Gameboy Advance title in almost every way, rediscover the joys of the simple life in Mineral Town. Bring your grandfather's farm back to life and meet some of the original townsfolk--this time with a 3D graphical overhaul and over 20 crop varieties.</p>

<h2>9. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/death-stranding/">Death Stranding</a></h2>

<p>After its most awaited debut on the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/death-stranding/">PlayStation 4</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/kojima-productions/">Kojima</a>'s latest masterpiece is now headed to the PC, to show off the beauty of its shattered world on a new platform. Clearly, beauty is what it's going for on the PC, since with its entrance to the PC, comes higher frame rates, ultra-widescreen support, and a new photo mode that seems made for everyone with a three monitor setup.</p>

<h2>10. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/paper-mario-the-origami-king/">Paper Mario: The Origami King</a></h2>

<p>Another Mario classic series is making its entrance to the Switch this year. This Mario RPG has been popular since the N64 days, and this latest game is determined to switch up the formula with a new take on its iconic style. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/intelligent-systems/">Intelligent System</a>'s Origami King shows off a more diorama-like approach, with famous Mario characters given the folded paper makeover.</p> 

<p>On top of the intriguing new storyline, we're definitely looking forward to seeing it this July 17th</p>


<h2>11. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/ghost-of-tsushima/">Ghost of Tsushima</a></h2>

<p>Perhaps one of the most anticipated games coming this July. This upcoming title from <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/sucker-punch-productions/">Sucker Punch</a> has grabbed our attention since its first announcement at E3. Through the years, we've slowly gotten to know it better, from its cinematic announcement trailer to its gameplay debut, and eventually, its story trailer captured from the PlayStation 4 Pro.</p> 

<p>But, just recently, Sucker Punch gave us a lengthy overview with 18 minutes of gameplay footage, showing off its <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/open-world/">open-world exploration</a>, combat, customization, and just more of their breathtaking environment and beautiful Japanese flute soundtrack is enough to have us excited to get our hands on it.</p>

<p>Ghost of Tsushima exudes respect for Japan's rich history, it almost feels like a cultural field trip that will be packed with exciting sword fighting and hopefully a compelling storyline through Jin Sakai.</p> 

<p>We’ll see how it all unfolds as it releases exclusively on the PlayStation 4 this July 17th</p>

Known for their crazy downhill destruction, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/ace-team/">ACE Team</a>'s Make & Break adds a ton of new features to the mix to make destroying their wacky medieval settings even more satisfying. The biggest change should be their new level editor that allows your imagination to run wild, creating, and customizing stages to your heart's content. To add to that is the new multiplayer mode. Unleash your inner Terry Gilliam, and watch the chaos unfold with up to three different rivals.</p> 

<p>It's set to release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on July 21st.</p>


<h2>13. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/grounded/">Grounded on PC</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/grounded/">Xbox One</a></h2>

<p>One of the games from last year's Xbox One showcase, Grounded takes a page out of Honey I Shrunk The Kids as it tells the story of four kids shrunken down to ant size in the name of science. Aside from giving us a view of our own world in a new perspective, the fact that it's a game from <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/obsidian/">Obsidian</a> should also suggest that we'll get a pretty good narrative experience despite its outlandish premise.</p>

<p>Before this game has even officially come out, it's been winning awards left and right. It's an <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/adventure/">adventure game</a> that's full of heart, telling the story of the young Aryelle who has the power to  control the seasons.</p> 

<p>When we first had a look at the game, it felt like it had the charm of <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/nintendo/">Nintendo</a>'s <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/the-legend-of-zelda-breath-of-the-wild/">Breath of the Wild</a>, carrying that same kind of wondrous environment that's packed with creatures to battle and puzzles to solve. With their latest gameplay overview, we got to see a lot of how Ary's world worked.</p> 

<p>Set in the world of Valdi, we'll get to explore a world separated into four regions, each representing one of the four seasons. But with the world out of balance, it's up to Ary to discover the reason behind the mystery.</p> 

<p>Seeing just how magical-looking the world of Valdi is, there's no doubt we'll have a lot of fun discovering each of its unique corners and it's coming out on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch on July 28th.</p>

<p>There's not much that makes Destroy All Humans brand new, but as one of the many memorable cult classics, this remake is a great way of introducing a much-loved title to a brand new generation.</p> 

<p>A game from the early 2000s but set in much earlier in the 1950s, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/black-forest-games/">Black Forest Games</a>' remake includes all of the hilarious, satirical antics of the original game. Play as every day alien who comes to earth to terrorize the poor humans on Earth using special alien technology.</p> 

<p>At its core, it's always been a funny as hell parody, making fun of "fun" themes like genocide and the Cold War.</p> 

<p>This remake will offer not just a graphical makeover but also a polishing of its old mechanics and features. A lot of remakes have come in with the same antiquated controls and mechanics, but hopefully, Destroy All Humans will keep up with the pace as it releases on PC and consoles this July 28th.</p>

Set in a bleak cyberpunk society, assume the role of an amnesiac assassin on the hunt for his missing past.</p>

Expanding upon their Create, Play, and Share feature, Dreams lets players build their own universe from game mechanics, visuals, and music. Its ever-growing community is home to many fantastic creations and it hurts not to try them all out.</p>

	<p>The second FromSoftware title on this list. Set in a Victorian-inspired universe, Bloodborne took Lovecraftian horrors to the next level. Playing as a hunter in a world plagued by disease, it has a way of rewarding patient players with expansive narratives and a glorious serving of disfigured monsters to beat down.</p>

	<p>Hideo Kojima’s swan song to his Metal Gear franchise had polarizing reviews to the gaming community. Despite all the controversy with <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/kojima-productions/">Kojima</a> and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/konami/">Konami</a>, The Phantom Pain managed to offer the best tactical-stealth action in a Metal Gear game ever. It did suffer in terms of storytelling due to Konami’s decision to cut content, but overall it’s a fantastic game that almost perfected the <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/stealth/">stealth genre</a>.</p> <p>A playscore of 9.25</p> 

<h2>10. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/undertale/">Undertale</a></h2>

	<p><a href="https://whatoplay.com/developers/tobyfox/">Tobyfox</a>’s weirder video game version of Alice in Wonderland was an unlikely RPG that made waves on the internet due to its huge following. Undertale has gained universal acclaim for turning the usually violent role-playing genre on its head.</p> 

<p>Adding talking to your arsenal of conflict resolution methods, Undertale becomes a unique experience and it does not hold your hand on how to handle its many challenges. We haven't even gotten to their jazzy soundtracks and loveable characters.</p>

<h2>9. <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/resident-evil-2/">Resident Evil 2 Remake</a></h2>

	<p>2019 was the year where CAPCOM got their stuff back together. Resident Evil 2 Remake sent terror to the old and new players with its realistic gore, creeping atmosphere, and tense <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/survival/">survival</a>-<a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/horror/">horror</a> aspects. <p>Braid lets you control a man named Tim as he slowly pieces together a story with the use of jigsaw puzzles. One of the game’s innovative feature is how you can control the flow of time, rewinding to previous events as you see fit.</p>

<p>Take control of a sassy woman named Bayonetta as she spirals out of control to defeat anyone who tries to piss her off. I mean, come on. You do not want to mess with a lady who uses her hair to summon demons. That’s crazy!</p>

Or not if you choose to be a pacifist. Play as Corvo Attano as he redeems himself from a conspiracy that destroyed his world.</p> 

<p>The gameplay blends satisfying stealth, gunplay, and the supernatural. Use these skills to complete challenging missions. How? Go on a rampage or sneak your way to the target. It’s all up to you.</p>

<p>Skyrim received universal acclaim. It is one of Bethesda’s most successful games to date due to its non-linear story, open-world elements, and the depth of its lore. We couldn’t stress how amazing this game is with a playscore of 9.01</p>
