Hi-Fi RUSH

The recent years have been really boring for gaming, games are neither optimized nor made properly with fun gameplay but this game which was shadow dropped was really really fun. If I didn't had GamePass PC, I would have missed out on this game. It was really fun game with a new take on gameplay. The environment is invigorating and the addition of music makes the gameplay so much fun. The boss battles are actually interesting and the story is good. The game was so loved that Xbox Studios declared it to be one of its first games to ever launch on PS5, its direct competitor.

One of the most fun games I have played

When this game was announced, I was extremely excited to try it out. I remembered hoping for this game not to be bad. And thankfully, this met my expectations.

A rhythm action game? I've never tried anything like it. I am sure there are other games out there that tried this specific gameplay style before, but I would dare myself to say that Hi Fi Rush re-invented it.

From the combat and platform, everything relies on a beat. Failing to perform an action during a beat can resort in being hit by an enemy or missing to land on a moving platform. There are also quick-time events that need to be perfected in order to get a high score or to complete an objective.

It may sound challenging, but it is an easy game to sink into. For any casual gamers out there who love games with fun control and an amazing soundtrack, I highly recommend HiFi Rush.

You can complete a chain of combos as long as you perfect every beat in the rhythm.

Hi-Fi Rush on Xbox Game Pass is a hidden gem that surprised me with its unique and addictive gameplay. As a musician, I was excited to try it out and boy did it deliver!

The artistry and technical merit of the visuals were impressive, but it's the sound design that really shines in this game. The music, sound effects, and vocals blend together perfectly to create an immersive experience that kept me hooked for hours on end.

The controls and interface are user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to jump in and start playing. The mechanics of the game are also satisfying, with feedback that feels great and a variety of challenges that keep things interesting.

What really sets Hi-Fi Rush apart are the characters, each with their own unique style and personality. From the fiery Chai to the cool Corsica, I loved taking on the boss fights and learning more about each character's backstory.

Overall, I highly recommend Hi-Fi Rush to anyone looking for a fresh and engaging rhythm game that's sure to get you hooked.

Bethesda Rocks!

This is an action game kind of like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta. It has cell-shaded graphics that look like a cartoon/comic book. The gameplay is pretty good. There’s no real story, but the action carries the game. However, the enemies are pretty repetitive. Not a lot of variety except for bosses. It has a few annoying spots where you have to quick-time buttons to cause an action. It’s supposed to be a rhythm game, but I rarely worried about the rhythm and I came out just fine. Overall, I guess I enjoyed the game. However, I don’t think it deserves all of the high praise I’ve heard from some people. I doubt that I’ll play it again. I’d give it a 7/10 or a 3/5.

Hi-Fi Rush - Rapid Fire Review

Feel the beat as wannabe rockstar Chai and his ragtag team of allies rebel against an evil tech megacorp with raucous rhythm combat! From Tango Gameworks, the studio that brought you The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo (no, really) comes Hi-Fi RUSH, an all-new action game where the characters, world and combat stylishly sync to the music!
