I've played [Diablo 2: LoD](https://whatoplay.com/pc/diablo-ii-lord-of-destruction/) when I was in high school and a couple of times ever since. I may have completed it countless of times.

As preparation for the upcoming [Diablo 4](https://whatoplay.com/pc/diablo-iv/), I bought Diablo 2: Resurrected to get a taste of 'old Diablo' that I grew up with. I'm happy to announce that the game delivered. Cosmetic improvements aside, it plays almost the same as the original. The visual toggle "G" is a perfect addition to remind us (older gamers) that the franchise has come a long way. It just feel easier than what I'm used to.

So why the score? You have two options to play it: **Offline** and **Online**. Offline is what you and I are used to. Online is [Diablo 3](https://whatoplay.com/pc/diablo-iii/) (uggh). I have to gaming PCs, so, of cource, I played Online but the lag is painful and game-breaking. It's likely because of my location _(Philippines)._

Conclusion:
If you want to experience Diablo 2 again, I would recommend buying this. Otherwise, wait for Diablo 4.
