Fury Unleashed is an amazing Roguelike, and it does a great job on the art style. I had no issues with Fury Unleashed, but I wanted more things related to the Story. For example, the Story doesn’t hold much weight. It’s nothing amazing, but it’s not bad either I hope they improve the lore and the Story of Fury Unleashed whenever they make a sequel to it. I would love to see a sequel because I adored the gameplay of Fury Unleashed
All in all, Fury Unleashed provided me with several entertaining afternoons and also brought me back to the past. It’s very fun, hard to play well, and the randomness of the levels was a treat for those looking for a challenge.
Its biggest problem then is that it's over all too quickly. Of course, rogue-lites are designed to be replayed over and over again. However, with just four comic books to work through, you'll see everything Fury Unleashed has to offer much quicker than you might expect. Boss fights are randomised, but the action in between feels wholly similar. As such, it makes for a quick-fire burst of enjoyment that, on the whole, puts a smile on your face every step of the way. Just don't expect Fury Unleashed to entice you into coming back for more.
