It has been two years since the release of the last Yakuza game and SEGA is looking to bring the franchise back this year with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Announced last year, now we have the official release date for the next-gen title.
According to SEGA, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be launching this November 10 for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 4. The game will also come with a Smart Delivery upgrade for owners of the Xbox version of the game.
While Like a Dragon is coming to the next-gen Xbox this year, PS5 owners will have to wait a bit longer. It’s also been announced that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will come to the PlayStation 5 on March 2, 2021—that’s four months after the November launch. We don’t know exactly why the PS5 release is delayed, but purchasing the PS4 version already guarantees players a free upgrade for the PS5.
