10 Upcoming Games of August 2023

1. Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon

PCPS5Xbox Series X|SPS4Xbox One

The biggest game to come out next month. Armored Core VI is the next chapter to FromSoftware’s cult-favorite mecha game. It’s no Dark Souls, or Elden Ring, but it’s as mechanically demanding with all its customizations and explosive mech battles. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but fans of Gundam or just anything involving big robots will find this worthwhile once it comes out this August 25.

2. Immortals Of Aveum

PCPS5Xbox Series X|S

A first-person magic shooter?! Yeah, that’s Immortals Of Aveum. Throw away the guns and replace it with fast and fluid spellcasting. It’s like Bioshock, but without you having to worry about Big Daddies and Little Sisters. Saving the world from impending doom is a goal, sure, but aside from that, you’re learning to master these forces of magic to become more powerful. It’s a flashy shooter that we can’t wait to get our hands on once it comes out 3 days before Armored Core VI.

3. Sea Of Stars

PCPS5PS4Switch

There’s just no way Sea Of Stars looks this good. Fortunately enough, all of it is real and it’s coming out next month. Sea Of Stars’ is an RPG. Which means it has a lengthy story with memorable characters and emotional moments. And even when you’re not staring at its vibrant visuals, you’d be interested in its turn-based combat where it combines traditional and modern styles.

4. Atlas Fallen

PCPS5Xbox Series X|S

Inspired by old school action games like God of War and Devil May Cry, Atlas Fallen takes us to a sand-swept world teeming with dangers. Don’t worry about the big monsters. You have the power to turn the tide of battle. Wield shape-shifting weapons and sand-powered abilities to take on powerful monsters.

5. Moving Out 2

PCPS5Xbox Series X|SPS4Xbox OneSwitch

Ready yourself into another wacky world of Moving Out. This sequel promises even more hilarious challenges that tests our patience. The addition of interdimensional portals adds a trippy sci-fi element for more chaos to our moving business. Even with all these new additions, it’s still guaranteed to give us fun and laughs when playing with friends.

6. Blasphemous 2

PCPS5Xbox Series X|S — Switch

The struggle continues in this sequel to one of the hardest games ever made. Step back into its twisted world, where hope seems like a distant dream, and face off against ghastly threats in its stunning pixel art. If you've conquered games like Hollow Knight or Metroid, you might think you're prepared, but brace yourself – hacking and slashing through "Blasphemous 2" is a whole new level of challenge!

7. Tower Of Fantasy

PS5PS4

After taking its time on iOS and Android devices, it’s about time they port their Genshin Impact-like MMO to the PlayStation 4 and 5. This console version doesn’t come with crossplay though, so if you’re gonna have to start fresh and play with other PlayStation users. However, if you want a different gacha experience, Tower Of Fantasy can fill that void for you with its big and shared online space.

8. Madden NFL 24

PCPS5Xbox Series X|SPS4Xbox One

Another year, another Madden NFL game. While it still looks the same from previous versions, NFL 24 offers new gameplay upgrades for a more realistic football experience. Stuff like crossplay, revamped catching system and a handful of online modes (including Superstar) will give more hours and variety for the football enthusiasts.

9. Vampire Survivors

It’s only a matter of time before the Switch can get their hands on this addictive roguelike. We’re honestly excited for it. Knowing that the Switch can seamlessly ‘switch’ between handheld and docked, we will never feel tired from decimating a horde of monsters. And with its imminent release comes a co-op mode where we can play with three other players in bitrate hell.

10. Stray

Xbox Series X|SXbox One

The cute cat game makes its debut on Microsoft consoles. There’s no difference from the other console versions, but at least Xbox users can finally get their hands on this feline’s dystopian quest to save humanity.
