Fans had become worried when it was announced that The Last of Us Part II wouldn’t be making its May deadline, and for a while things were left up in the air. The good news is, the game is finally coming next month, and we have a new story trailer to get us hyped for the release.

While initial trailers had been mysterious about the fate of Joel in this game, we actually get to see more him this time around. Though it can be said that Joel is definitely alive in this timeline, I think there’s still a possibility that all of his scenes come from flashbacks.
Regardless, everyone is excited for the sequel to one of the biggest games of 2013. It’s been seven years since the first Last of Us came out, and after years of delays and rumors, we’re finally going to get our hands on Part II. While a lot of people who’ve read the leaks say that the plot is terrible, I’m still hopeful to figure it out myself when the game releases.
