On June 15, 2023, developer Sloclap released the Arenas Expansion for Sifu on Switch, bringing the game's acclaimed free mode to all versions. Players on Switch can now enjoy the same experience as players on other platforms.

Sifu's latest expansion includes 45 new challenges spread across nine locations. Five competitive modes, including survival and time attack, have added over 10 hours of more gameplay to the already challenging title.
The update also includes 28 cheats, six new outfits, quality-of-life improvements, and more. The changes make Sifu more accessible to all players while challenging those wanting to master it.
Sifu is a Kung Fu action game set in a fictional Chinese city. Players take control of a young Pak Mei Kung Fu master who is seeking revenge for the murder of their master.
The game features a unique aging mechanic that sees the player's character grow older each time they die. This adds an extra layer of challenge to the game, as players must learn to adapt their playstyle as they age.
Sifu made its debut on the Nintendo Switch in November 2022. According to a review by Stuart Mclean on Dual Shockers, the Switch version of Sifu is a decent adaptation of the game. However, it does exhibit some visual downgrades and excessive use of vibration features.
With the addition of the latest expansion, players can enjoy the exhilarating Pak Mei Kung Fu while playing on the move.
