During the Summer Game Fest on June 8, 2023, Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled Sand Land — an RPG game developed by ILCA Inc. — based on Akira Toriyama's renowned manga of the same name. The game is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
In the game, players take on the role of Beelzebub, the Fiend Prince, in a desert world where humans and demons live. Follow his story as a "super evil fiend" as he seeks to solve the extreme water shortage in his homeland. He goes on an adventure alongside Sheriff Rao and a demon named Thief to look for a Legendary Spring in the desert.
Beezlebub introduces himself as a "super evil fiend" but has a pure heart like a child. He possesses superhuman strength and telepathic abilities. Rao is a sheriff from a small town who joins him to solve the water crisis. Thief is an old demon with thieving skills who joins them on their quest.
Explore the vast world of "Sand Land" either by foot or using various vehicles, and meet helpful allies. Encounter dangers and engage in vehicle and character combat. Customize vehicles with load-outs to navigate the desert. Overcome obstacles and challenge mighty foes.
