Lost Blade, a mobile RPG from Singaporean developer NetEase, will welcome more players this year.
Taiwanese game publisher Envoy Games confirmed that the Chinese version of Lost Blade is heading toward Taiwan. They will release it on Android and iOS phones this February 21.
Weeks ahead of its debut in Taiwan, Lost Blade has already sparked buzz among Taiwanese gamers. Envoy Games reported that as of February 9, the upcoming game's pre-registration had already reached over 300,000. In celebration of this feat, they will give two five-star heroes, the Embroidery Lady and Frost Dragon, to players who have successfully pre-registered on the Play Store and App Store.
Lost Blade is a medieval fantasy RPG. Set in Imperial China, the game centers around martial arts. It features a blend of 2D and comic-book art styles to give players an immersive experience, according to Envoy Games. Aside from the main campaign, the game has at least five other modes, including a PvP battle.
Lost Blade first launched last year in selected regions, including Southeast Asia. At that time, the game only supports English as its language. Meanwhile, Envoy Games has activated online communities for Taiwanese gamers of Lost Blade to mark the game's release.
They recently launched the game's official page on Facebook, where they have prepared various events and giveaways. Some of the prizes include a Nintendo Switch and an AirPods. By completing the steps through the specific post, [gamers] will have a chance to get rich awards,
the publisher said in a press release.
