Last year it was announced that My Little Witch Academia was getting a VR game, and though the game was originally set to come out in June, it had to be delayed because of the breakout of COVID-19. Noww developers UNIVRS, Inc. have given us a release window for My Little Witch Academia: VR Broom Racing.

As it turns out LWAVR is now set to come out on the Oculus Quest late 2020. We don’t have a specific release date yet, but at least we know that it will be available before the year ends. As for the the game coming out on PSVR, Oculus Rift, and Steam VR, fans will have to wait until early 2021 to get their hands on the game.

The game is actually directed by Junichi Yamamoto who had acted as director for the opening and ending of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening; he was also a storyboard artist for Batman Ninja. Let’s hope he has the props to deliver a fun game not just for Little Witch Academia fans, but also for anyone who loves anything to do with broom racing—looking at you Harry Potter fans.

Learn to soar with the help and encouragement of fan-favorite characters from the popular anime while UNIVRS, Inc.’s motion sickness reduction technology keeps the focus on the exhilaration of flying.
