Throughout its development process, Oxygen Not Included is a staple among the Early Access games. It has come a long way. Ever since February 2017, according to their official Forum Post, “it had a little more than a few Duplicants and some pipes full of cold water.”

The team behind the critically acclaimed survival game Don’t Starve and Don’t Starve Together, Klei Entertainment manages to release their space base-building title from Steam’s Early Access after almost 2 years.

Oxygen Not Included continues to evolve as the developers consistently add more biomes, lifeforms and other base-building mechanics to the table. According to the developers, the adventure isn’t over yet. There will always be bugs to fix and balance issues to address. Klei keeps an open mind about criticism and feedback so tune in to their official site for more announcements.

Like most of Klei’s games, it’s a beacon of hope for the gaming community. Some die-hard players have reportedly played this game for almost 2,000 hours while others are still hitting their 100-hour mark. It’s a fantastic title to spend countless hours on, especially with its high replay value.

Oxygen Not Included has a provisional playscore of 9.28 on the PC.
