The Fate of Baldr is a tower defense game with old-school sci-fi and Norse mythology elements. In the game, players take on the role of a Viking warrior who must defend their ship from waves of mythical creatures and gods. Players can use a variety of towers and weapons to build their defenses, as well as a deep skill tree to customize their playstyle.

Players can play the game solo or in online co-op with up to four players.
