This development also made Elden Ring Bandai's fastest-selling title "of all time," according to reports from gaming news sites. A month after its release in 2022, the publisher sold over 13 million copies of Elden Ring.

Creators, for their part, not only thanked fans and supporters.
Developers confirmed on February 28 that the game's first expansion pack is in the works. The official Twitter account of Elden Ring dropped a teaser poster for the upcoming story expansion called Shadow of the Erdtree.

However, they have yet to unveil more details about Shadow of the Erdtree, including its target release date. We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between, developers added.

Upon its release on PC, PS5, Series X|S, PS4, and Xbox One, Elden Ring received wide critical acclaim. Elden Ring was also touted as an "evolved version" of Bandai's Dark Souls series.
