If Star Wars has proven anything, it’s that the western and sci-fi genre make for a fun mix. What’s great is, Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto has an upcoming game called Disintegration, and we have a new story trailer for this interesting sci-fi shooter.
Check it out:
Here’s a short description:
Like I said, the game looks to be mixing elements from both the western and sci-fi genre, and though we have flying vehicles and murder robots, there’s also a chance that player could be going around and performing ‘chores’ with their gravcycles.
Disintegration will come with two different game modes: Campaign and Multiplayer. Campaign will put you in the shoes of gravcycle pilot Romer Shoal as he attempts to ‘reboot humanity’; Multiplayer will come in three modes where you can play through a variety of maps in team-based battles.
And of course, no sci-fi game would be complete without some interesting lore behind it. This is apparently a world where humans have opted to just have their brains integrated inside machines. If you want to find out more about Romer’s world and the clash with the Rayonne, you can check it out here.
Disintegration is now up for pre-order and will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on June 16.
