
<p>While <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/animal-crossing-new-horizons">Animal Crossing: New Horizons</a> may be one of the most popular “slice of life” games out on consoles right now, Humble Games has teased the release of their cool-looking puzzle adventure game called <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/carto">Carto</a>. The game is set to come out later this month, and it’s been revealed that pre-orders are now available</p>.

<p>While solving puzzles and exploring seems to be the main hook of the game, players will love the fantastic hand-drawn visuals that give the world this great feel. The game also boasts its soundtrack for a fun, relaxed time exploring the animated wilds of Carto.</p>

<p>Players can explore different biomes throughout the game as they run into different people and try to solve tasks for each of them—all in the quest to come home.</p>

<p>While maps are usually a tool for better navigating the game, it’s fascinating to actually have one where the map is the game. Hopefully this makes for a fun look into the science of cartography.</p>

<p>Carto is now available for pre-order and will be playable for <a href="https://whatoplay.com/ps4/carto">PS4</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/switch/carto">Nintendo Switch</a>, <a href="https://whatoplay.com/xbox-one/carto">Xbox One</a>, and <a href="https://whatoplay.com/pc/carto">PC</a> on Oct. 27.</p>
