Here's some fantastic news for fans of the city-building genre. The creators of Against the Storm and Timberborn have joined forces to bring you a limited-edition bundle.
Eremite Games and Mechanistry announced the launch of the Beaver Builder Bundle on March 26. The limited, Steam-exclusive bundle offers players the chance to score Against the Storm and Timberborn at discounted prices, the developers said.
Both titles are available at a 10% savings on the combined price,
Eremite Games and Mechanistry wrote in a joint press release. [The Beaver Builder Bundle makes] it a perfect buy for fans of fantasy city-building games and beavers, as well as anyone who hibernated through the recent Steam Spring Sale,
they added.
Players and fans can avail of the bundle until April 9 only.
Against the Storm and Timberborn recently made waves in the city-building genre. Both games were created by independent gaming studios. The two titles made their debut via PC in 2021. As of March 2023, both games are still in Early Access.
Timberborn takes players into a fantasy world where beavers reign. In it, beavers had the task of rebuilding the earth after humanity's extinction.
Against the Storm, on the other hand, employs dark fantasy and roguelike elements. Like Timberborn, Against the Storm lets players take control of beavers in reclaiming the wilderness and surviving never-ending storms.
Against the Storm and Timberborn received positive praise from gamers. Against the Storm received an aggregate gamerscore of 9.4 on more than 9000 reviews. Timberborn garnered a high gamerscore, at 9.3, from over 16,400 reviews on Steam, GOG, and Game Faqs. / ###
