This announcement comes after the surprise re-release of Dark Alliance on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
No release date has been set for the PC port, but fingers crossed that it will be sometime later in the year.
Originally developed by Snowblind Studios, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance was a spinoff of BioWare’s Baldur’s Gate games. It was the first to forgo a PC release to come out exclusively on consoles. The game was highly praised. The PS2 version even won the D.I.C.E Award for “Role-Playing Game of the Year” that year.
The game is set in the Forgotten Realms campaign of Dungeons & Dragons. It has updated gameplay which follows the rules of the 3rd edition of D&D which was released in 2000.
No release date has been announced for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance for the PC, but the game is now available for PS4|PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
