One of the newest competitors in the fight for the best MOBA game on the mobile, Arena of Valor refines the nitty gritty of smartphone optimization to create a worthy alternative to the established names on the platform.
Created under Tencent, who owns Riot and their League of Legends game, Arena of Valor has the production value of their games, with clean cut visuals and over 30 unique heroes. Creating a name of its own on the mobile, it has a playscore of 8.4.
9. Dungeon Hunter Champions: Epic Online Action RPG
With renewed inspiration, Gameloft tries their hand on the MOBA format again--showing off a visual masterclass with the Dungeon Hunter universe. A spiritual successor to their hack and slash series, it's mainly a revitalized Diablo-like campaign.
But what makes this special is the addition of the 5v5 PvP that pits their over 250 champions in intense real-time battles. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it offers something new on the side for fans of the series. With all its imperfections and gameloft microtransactions, it's a decent balance of two genres. 8. Vainglory
One of the first to condense the PC MOBA formula into a pocket friendly format, Vainglory is one of the royalties of the genre. It's not just that they were the first. The MOBA propelled itself to fame with the balance of its heroes and gameplay. With just up to 50 or so heroes, Super Evil Megacorp refines each of their skills while maintaining the skill-based combat with scaleable items and leveling. 7. Tank Raid Online
Now for something a little different. More battle arena than your run of the action RTS, Tank Raid's wealth of game modes has got your multiplayer itches covered. Kinda like a barebones arcade version of World of Tanks, dive into the colorful arena with your favorite customizable tank and compete in solo survival, deathmatches, or football fun. While its all too accurate slow tanks is a little source of frustration, it only adds to to its bursts of intense, action packed battles. It has a Provisional playscore of 8.80.
6. Onmyoji ArenaFrom the makers of Rules of Survival, NetEase Games eases their Onymyoji universe into a new world of all-out combat. While they already had strategic PvP battles, Arena takes it to the next level, filling the traditional MOBA battlefield with their signature Japanese aesthetic. Owing to its diverse cast and fun events, there's a lot to keep coming back for. Currently holding an InyuYasha crossover event, meet Kikyo, dress her up in beautiful outfits, and take her marksmanship out for a spin. It has a Provisional playscore of 8.81.
5. Beast Brawlers - PvP Arena
