Amazing, makes me feel like I'm in the world of Star Wars more than half of the actual movies. Tough, but rewarding combat system is incredible, wielding a lightsaber has never been so satisfying.

STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order

What I know of star wars is that couple of bits that I can remember from watching it with my father when I was a wee lad. Aside from that, I believe I went ahead and watched Rouge one and Episode 9 in the theatres with some mates, so all in all, I don't know much about star wars and I don't count myself as a star wars fan.

However, due to popular demand and numerous recommendations, I decided to play Fallen Order on stream and it was a blast. As a souls-like enjoyer (Finished Sekiro, my first FromSoft, DS3, yet to have played the DLC and Elden Ring, still unfinished) It had the perfect balance of being difficult and enjoyable at the same time. The enemy variety was surprisingly good for a game that was mediocre in gameplay time. Story was concise and led you properly to climaxes.

Okay, now for my reason as to why I cannot give it a 10/10. I know that it's totally a subjective point however, it affected my experience while playing the game, thus affecting the score. With the meditation aka the save points being far away and not being to teleport to them or find a way back aside from backtracking, it led to a lot of time wasted just trying to backtrack and go back to the point where you have to go. The map was confusing because of the layering and I believe a lot of people would agree with that as well.

With that being said, it is a great game, even for somebody who's not inclined with star wars, I had an amazing time! Looking forward to Jedi Survivor and I'll be playing it once I am able to afford it, for sure.

For somebody who isn't deep into star wars. This game is amazing!

A game that plays out like an actual Star Wars movie.

I got a chance to play this game for a couple of weeks, beat it for around 20 hours, and now, In celebration of May 4th "Star Wars day" to write a review.

The story created more sense to the Star Wars canon since "Order 66" is not a complete success. There are some Jedi's survived the purge like Obi-wan, grandmaster Yoda and the man of this game Cal Kestis.

Throughout his journey, you will learn the ways of a Jedi that can be used in combat and traversing through obstacles. Judging from how it is played, it feels like I am playing "Uncharted" or "Tomb Raider" without guns but with the spice of a "Souls" game.

It's not much of an open world since you can only visit a limited number of planets. This game will certainly satisfy your itch for exploration along with discovering hidden paths and unlocking secret item boxes but will always remind you for a skill check therefore detours are inevitable.

Replayability-wise, you can always practice your mastery of the force _(or have fun playing with the force)_ through playing combat challenges and battle grid. Completing these challenges will earn you tokens that can be exchanged for rewards.

Overall, EA games did not let me down on this one, in which the story is its strongest point. They made this game loyal to the Star Wars canon and even made it open for future sequels, spin-offs, and cameos.

Beautiful just flat out built amazingly with a lot of depth to story and just the fact its cannon to the actual star wars movies and shows is just even better. I highly do recommend this if your a star wars fan orrr not, it really don't matter.

A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order, a new 3rd person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively-driven single player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors. While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically-charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense STAR WARS lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.
