What I know of star wars is that couple of bits that I can remember from watching it with my father when I was a wee lad. Aside from that, I believe I went ahead and watched Rouge one and Episode 9 in the theatres with some mates, so all in all, I don't know much about star wars and I don't count myself as a star wars fan.

However, due to popular demand and numerous recommendations, I decided to play Fallen Order on stream and it was a blast. As a souls-like enjoyer (Finished Sekiro, my first FromSoft, DS3, yet to have played the DLC and Elden Ring, still unfinished) It had the perfect balance of being difficult and enjoyable at the same time. The enemy variety was surprisingly good for a game that was mediocre in gameplay time. Story was concise and led you properly to climaxes.

Okay, now for my reason as to why I cannot give it a 10/10. I know that it's totally a subjective point however, it affected my experience while playing the game, thus affecting the score. With the meditation aka the save points being far away and not being to teleport to them or find a way back aside from backtracking, it led to a lot of time wasted just trying to backtrack and go back to the point where you have to go. The map was confusing because of the layering and I believe a lot of people would agree with that as well.

With that being said, it is a great game, even for somebody who's not inclined with star wars, I had an amazing time! Looking forward to Jedi Survivor and I'll be playing it once I am able to afford it, for sure.
