The game's story is good but the gameplay not so much. I tried this game while looking for Arkham like freestyle combat and I have to say I am disappointed. The game has 4 combos and 5 powerups which are unlocked very much later in the game on their own. The ledges always have an arrow marked on them which feels like the game considers me a child to not know where to go. The futuristic Paris is a great visual but is not fun as there is no exploration, the invisible wall holds you from going out of your way. The game is made by Capcom so the camera work has to be shoddy like the DMC series. The worst thing in the game is the combat system. You have to combine punches and kicks in the order game gives you to create a combo but the devs didn't provide a parry system that destroys the combo when you dodge from getting hit.

I really liked the art style of this game. Combat system felt exciting in the beginning but became boring and repetitive afterwards as I've progressed through the game. All the platforming I had to do, was not fun at all.

Remember Me Review w/ Lisa Foiles

Neo-Paris. 2084. Personal memories can now be digitised, bought, sold and traded. The last remnants of privacy and intimacy have been swept away in what appears to be a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. This memory economy gives immense power over society to just a handful of people.
