I do not know the whole concept of the story line in this game. But I didn't care, because I had fun.
Neon Abyss is a shooter platform game that has random generated stages. Each floor or stage has an end boss that rewards you with an item that could be a weapon or accessory. You can also find or buy weapons or accessories on each stage and they help change your gameplay.

Examples would be that some guns shoot homing rockets or you can charge a beam of energy. And if you have the right accessories, you can boost your gameplay even further. You might find one that increases the amount of rockets you shoot or increases the width of the laser.

The game can be challenging since the controls, sadly, are not that great. Any platform game that lets you press up to jump is simply a minus to me. Why not have it on the A,B,X,Y buttons? Anywhere else except UP would have been great.

The music is somewhat mediocre. It isn't memorable but it serves its purpose.

All in all, I enjoyed the game despite its flaws since your next run will be different from your previous. It’s in GamePass so if you have it, give it a go. It was a good time waster.

Neon Abyss

Neon abyss is a 2d Platformer, Roguelike. Easy difficulty is too easy. Plus, some power-ups are too broken.

Like Demon wings, which makes you fly. Pretty broken for some End bosses. You'll have contacts, and you'll have to kill the boss and finish the contract.

With a few bosses to kill, they update the game once in a while with new bosses, new enemies, and more skill.

The skill tree isn't that broken, which is good, and There are different characters with different abilities.

The game is so addictive and amazing. Worth trying. They usually update Pc before anything Else.

There are crystals every time you die in the abyss, with those crystals you can upgrade in the skill tree, with each difficulty giving a different amount of crystals every time you die.

*   Easy Mode
*   Normal Mode
*   Hard Mode

Three difficulties. With hard mode, enemies have faster attacks and more damage. Normal mode is normal speed and normal damage. And if you're struggling, easy mode has enemies that have lower attack speed.

There are a lot of contracts you need to complete.

* Argus, God of the DarkNet
*   Hel, God of machines
*   Zeus, God of electricity
* Ares, the God of violences

And there's more, but not spoiling, even though I already did.

It's free on game pass, so worth trying.
