**SOUND/AUDIO 8/10**

Sound design is flattering however can be repetitive - since the tunes you get when entering certain areas play in a perfect loop. Although they do get muffled out occassionally by the ambient sounds you hear when interacting with other things in the world. Characters "voices" are quirky but you overlook the loud typing sounds for the humorous dialogue you get from them.

**VISUALS** **8/10**

Cottage-core cozy gamers will feel some semblance of home here. It is not "witchy" by any means but the russet browns and forest greens would remind you of the dense thickets in timberland with some palette cleansers of the dark undertones of swamplands to barren saturated deserts. It is a treat for your eyes when you want something colorful but not overpowering.

**INTERFACE 6/10**

The interface was kinda janky at first which made not want to play the game for a while until I had the patience. Why, I couldn't navigate the menus so easily and for another game that involves interacting with a crafting menus and inventory a lot, it is kind of a pain to navigate around. I would've definitely want to love this game if not for how it feels in this port. It's either I have never learned my lesson or the people who decided to put it on the switch have not. Alternative: get it on the PC.

**GAMEPLAY 7/10**

Gameplay wise, it is kind of addicting even though it is mundane - for me. It is task-based so don't worry about forgetting what to do next. I like managing games such as this and I love how most of it is a no brainer. The satirical dialogues and sarcastic commentary adds so much character to the usually thought-of-as-boring NPCs - kinda lengthy but I ignored it for the most part. Most management games are quite repetitive, but I appreciate how we are given multiple areas in different biomes to refurbish and restore - each area having it's own unique personality - doesn't significantly affect how to rebuild though. Not needed but welcome.

**CONCLUSION 7.25/10**

Despite my obvious distaste for the weird and janky crafting interface at times and repetitive fetch quests, I would recommend this game IF you like management games. Some of these short-comings would compound as you progress which gave me lil incentive to keep playing the game. Perhaps you do get it, I'd suggest on a platform which is most comfortable for you. To those who like designing their very own idyllic cozy cottages in far off places, walking around doing chores for others and don't mind the monotony of repetition, pay this one a lil' visit. It's very specific I know (I just want you to know what you're in for).
