"Bayonetta is a masterpiece of the action genre. The combat is fluid and deeply satisfying, allowing you to chain together spectacular combos with ease. Bayonetta herself is a fantastic character—confident, charismatic, and incredibly powerful. The game's style is pure camp and spectacle, from the wild enemy designs to the epic boss battles. It's a non-stop thrill ride from start to finish."

It is such a wonderful experience having to purchase a Steam deck from my hard-earned money. For me it is such an achievement. Same with my Playstation 5. Which was also bought this year too.

Bayonetta is the first game I've beaten in Steam Deck. I can say that I'm really impressed so far by the power of this machine. It can run games with a lot of particles with a 60 fps frame-rate. Bayonetta is also my first game in the trilogy. Ever since Bayonetta won an award in the GOTY awards 2022. I got curious that's why I gave this a try. It was all worth it to be honest. This is one of the best hack-and-slash action game I've played next to God of War and Devil May Cry. Looking forward to play the 2nd and 3rd entry on the series. See you year 2023!

My first Steam Deck game and the last game I finished for 2022

The first game in the series was directed by Hideki Kamiya, who created the Devil May Cry franchise when he was working in Capcom. **Bayonetta** is a witch and she awakens after a very long time. She has no memory, but soon bits of her past come to light.

Bayonetta

I played Bayonetta 2 first & loved it. I then found I also loved #1. It’s full of action. It’s made me more of a hack-n-slash fan (didn’t really care for these games in the past). The enemies are interesting & varied. They also change up the gameplay with vehicles, vertical play, etc. The bosses can be challenging- but in a good way- manageable. The story isn’t much to really care about- but this isn’t a story-driven game. It’s really good at what it is- a great action game! I can see playing it again! I highly recommend!
