It’s also a shame that the key facet of the game – the ability to farm together – is pretty much impossible thanks to the low player base. If it wasn’t for its mobile gaming elements, Farm Together would be easy to recommend. As it is, it’s a fun game to play in short bursts, but there’s no overlooking its bewildering design choices
While NPC characters ask you for specific hauls of food, you don’t really interact with other characters. You also don’t travel to any towns – it’s all about your farm and making it bigger. That alone is more than enough to satisfy. I am having a blast playing this game with my daughter, and it’s just nice to see a game that doesn’t make you stress in any way. Just sit back, relax, and watch the fields grow.
