Reflexions is not great. There’s not much content, there aren’t enough massage mini-games, there aren’t enough dress-up options (at least, not yet), and the voyeuristic tone is creepy. And then there’s the fantasy involving Asuka being your “little sister,” which almost makes me want to nuke the game from orbit. For the Senran Kagura superfan, it’s probably required reading but everyone else can just wait for Peach Beach Pinball.

Whatever else the game lacks, Asuka still moves and reacts at the level you expect from any Senran Kagura title. I can’t in good conscience recommend this game, but I’m not fooling myself. This is a low-cost, playful interlude that will appeal to any fan of the franchise looking for more time to spend with a major member of the regular cast. If you’re into it, Senran Kagura Reflexions will be just what you’re looking for.

Senran Kagura Reflexions is really nothing more than a proof of concept. Honey∞Parade Games set out to make a game where you touch Asuka all over until she’s been satisfied and in that respect, it succeeds. Just a damn shame the developer couldn't turn all that touching into something worth playing.
