Oh man. The memories I had with playing Armored Core back then in the PS1. Climbing the arena ladder in Masters of Arena is by far one of the best moments I had in Armored Core MoA. Truly a beautiful moment.

But this AC. This is kinda meh.

I hate to say it. But Armored Core 6 is mediocre.

Yes it has the engaging combat, the controls are fluid, the music is impressive in the right moments but it just feels hollow.

I don't know but maybe I've grown off from this mech series without realizing it until I got my hands to its latest game.

Maybe my nostalgia fooled me into thinking that this game would provide me the same feelings I had in playing AC for the first time.

That could be true. Who knows.
But what I do know is that after beating the game (got the bad ending who cares), I didn't want to go for the new game plus mode. I just didn't felt like going for a second round. Because, like I said. It felt mediocre. It felt like a chore.

So many people complained about the difficulty spike. What spike? The game was easy to mid in terms of difficulty. Its tough if you expect to go through the game using a specific build without constantly customizing your mech. This has been a staple in all AC games.

To the people who complained about the difficulty, all I can say is GET FILTERED!

All in all, if you enjoyed the AC games of the past, give this a go. I still don't think this tops off AC MoA but its good enough to waste a couple of hours.
