For the Emperor! Focus Entertainment and developers Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is out now. This massive sequel improved upon the third-person shooter gameplay with more spectacle and Imperium glory.
Players can now take up arms as Space Marines, humanity's elite warriors, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 takes place a hundred years after the events of the first game. It follows Titus’ return to the 41k Millenium as part of the Ultramarines, the Imperium’s loyal military corps.
Players will experience the raw power of Space Marines throughout the entire game. They will face off against the galaxy’s swarm of terrifying xenos enemies. Balancing bloody close-quarters combat using melee weapons with a devastating arsenal of firepower is a power fantasy only a Space Marine 2 player can have.
Season 1 officially kicks off simultaneous to the game’s launch. It is the shortest season consisting of game fixes, optimization and its first Battle Pass.
This is in lieu of the game’s multiplayer modes, consisting of PvP and PvE content. Players can customize and upgrade their characters as they progress, even dabbling into fashion territory.
Future post-launch content is already in development with its comprehensive roadmap. Season 2 runs from October until the end of the year. It promises new missions, enemies, weapons, and much more. This ensures the war for the Imperium will continue long after the initial release.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 received glowing reviews, highlighting the stark improvement from its predecessor. on PlayStation 5, it received a criticscore of 8.3, a playscore of 8.1 for PC and 8.5 on Xbox Series X/S.
