<p>Unknown 9: Awakening follows the journey of Haroona, a Quaestor with powerful abilities sourced from the mysterious dimension that overlaps our own known as the Fold. Haroona must protect humanity from the Ascendants, who seek to harness the power of the Fold to reshape human destiny.</p>

<p>The gameplay offers a familiar blend of third-person <a href="https://whatoplay.com/best/ps5/action/">action</a> with stealth elements. Fans of Ubisoft’s <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/assassins-creed-mirage/">Assassin’s Creed</a> series will find some of its mechanics familiar.</p> 

<p>Haroona is played by actress Anya Chalotra, known for her role as Yennefer of Vengerberg from Netflix’s live-action <a href="https://whatoplay.com/games/the-witcher/">Witcher</a> series.</p>

<p>While fans await the game’s release, there are plenty of ways to dive into the Unknown 9 universe, further expanding the game’s rich lore.</p> 

<p>This includes The Unknown 9: Torment comic series which introduces a character named Jaden Crowe, a young man drawn into a mind-bending adventure. Issue #1 is currently available to read while Issue #2 is set to come out soon.</p>
