Good news for console players! They can now play Undead Horde 2: Necropolis, the sequel to the popular, zombie-themed hack-n-slash game.

Indie game studio 10tons confirmed that the game is now available on PS5, Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Players can buy the game for US$16.99.

10tons also announced the development of a mobile version of the game. Further information, however, has yet to be made public.

Details concerning mobile versions will be revealed at a later date, they wrote in a press statement.

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis was first released for PC last March. The second installment in the Undead Horde series introduces new elements and mechanics not found in the first game.

The creation of Undead Horde 2 was an interesting journey for us, said Sampo Töyssy of 10tons. It's a sequel but on the other hand we were able to improve and even change many things, he added.

Among its highlights was the ability for players to rebuild a new Necropolis. In turn, the game became a real-time strategy, RPG, and hack-n-slash hybrid.

Now, they are not just leading an undead army; they are literally shaping their kingdom, rebuilding the Necropolis from scratch, said Töyssy.

In Undead Horde 2: Necropolis, players have the ability to choose the type of undead they will raise from the grave and send into battle. So, the players have more control over their undead minions in a more strategic and immersive manner, Töyssy explained.

The Undead Horde tells the story of an undead kingdom under attack by the living. Players assume the role of the Undead King, ruler of the Necropolis, who must protect and reclaim their kingdom from the invading forces.

Undead Horde 2: Necropolis received predominantly positive feedback from players and critics upon its release. According to Töyssy, players even found the sequel a better version than its predecessor. The player feedback so far has been very positive, and most players think the sequel is better than the first game in many ways, which has been very nice to hear, he said.
