Sega and Two Point Studios on August 14th have announced the third game in the Two Point series, Two Point Museum.
In a press release, the creators confirmed that the game will make its way to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A release date has yet to be disclosed.
Two Point Museum will transport players to a world where they can create, manage, and curate their own museum. In it, they must explore uncharted territories not only to discover unique artifacts. But also search for design engaging exhibits, and keep visitors entertained.
“As you unearth strange exhibits, the endless star scoring system encourages you to tweak the layout of your museum depending on what you discover,” the game’s description reads.
The creators promised to introduce a blend of strategy, creativity, and humor - characteristics of the Two Point series.
It will also feature a deep customization system. This will allow players to design every aspect of their museum, from the architecture to the gift shop. Players will also need to manage staff, ensure visitor satisfaction, and attract donations.
In the meantime, Sega has dropped a cinematic trailer for Two Point Museum. The video, which ran for a minute and a half, provided players a glimpse into the upcoming game.
Developers also confirmed their participation in Gamescom, which will kick off this August 21st. There, players and fans can experience a playable demo of Two Point Museum. They can also expect a 'deep dive reveal in developers' partnership with Xbox' during the event.
Two Point Museum is the latest title from the creators of the critically acclaimed Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, two all-time best games on PC and PS4. Both titles have also garnered praise for their blend of simulation gameplay and humor.
The series was created by some of the developers behind cult favorite Theme Hospital.
