While Jackie Chan’s Drunken Master remains a cinematic kung-fu classic, this upcoming game called Drunken Fist from eastasiasoft won’t be drawing from any of that martial arts history. The game is set to come to consoles this week, and we have a trailer showcasing this drunken brawler.

Here’s the official description as well:

Street fights have never been funnier! Drunken Fist is a physics-based brawler that never takes itself too seriously. Take the role of a drunk guy as he looks for food and collects booze across 7 challenging stages. Along the way, you’ll cross paths with jocks, hipsters, punks and a motley bunch of other enemy types, each with their own unique combat styles.

Hilariously simulating the feel of a drunken fight in dynamic 3D physics, the blows fly past, you constantly fall down and behave ridiculously. Will our inebriated hero ever get home?

While it doesn’t look like there isn’t much emphasis on fighting style, Drunken Fist will be more focused on ‘physics-based’ fighting—perfect for a character who is trying his best just to keep standing-up. As the description goes, Drunken Fist doesn’t really take itself too seriously, and players can just have fun drunkenly navigating the game as they search for food and fights.

Drunken Fist comes out on Dec. 23 for US$7.99/€7.99 and will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. People who also get the game on launch will be able to avail a 20% discount.
