Calling all aspiring restaurateurs and sushi enthusiasts!
Polish developer and publisher has announced the release date of Tokyo Cooking. The highly anticipated, in-house simulation game will come out as a Nintendo Switch exclusive release. The upcoming Switch game will be available on Nintendo's e-Shop this May 17th.
Tokyo Cooking takes place in a bustling kitchen in the Japanese capital. In it, players step into the shoes of a cook who wants to make his grandmother proud. Doing so, he must not only start the journey of becoming a master chef in Japanese dishes. But also to build and run his own sushi restaurant.
Creators described the game as 'not your average point-and-click' and cooking experience. Here, players will find all the necessary equipment and ingredients to help them transform into sushi-making maestro.
The game's key features included allowing players to make their own sushi. And like real-life sushi chefs, players in Tokyo Cooking will need to master the art of balance. Slicing, frying, and preparing sauces all require a steady hand and a keen eye, they said.
In addition, each customer's order comes with a unique to-do list, requiring careful attention to detail. Tokyo Cooking will also have a dynamic day/night system, enabling players to meet and cater a diverse cast of customers.
Along the way, players can unlock a wide variety of ingredients, up to a total of 32. In turn, it will allow them to refine your technique and personalize their sushi creations.
Aside from the cooking aspect, the simulation also offers restaurant management. This includes customization options. Players can choose whether to decorate their restaurants with various designs. Be it sleek and modern, and light and traditional.
Tokyo Cooking will be available at Nintendo's e-Shop with a price tag of US $16.99
