Two new characters and a 'remix mode' await players in the final content update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.
Developers from Tribute Games on September 24 finally rolled out the last downloadable content (DLC) for the hit beat 'em up. Titled 'Radical Reptiles', the expansion pack adds two new playable characters to the roster.
The latest DLC introduces Mondo Gecko and Mona Lisa.
Known as the radical surfer and loyal friend to the Turtles, Mondo Gecko dishes out damage with his skateboard. Meanwhile, gamers can play as Mona Lisa. As Mona Lisa, they can use her potent chemical concoctions as projectiles.
Both characters hail from the iconic 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series. This is their debut as playable characters in a beat-em-up video game.
The Radical Reptiles DLC carries a price tag US $3.99.
Meanwhile, its release also coincides with a free update available to all players. It introduced a "Remix Mode" that revamps the game's soundtrack with a collection of electrifying remixes. And these are composed by a star-studded lineup of chiptune artists and industry veterans. This, in turn, adds a fresh layer of energy to the Foot Clan-stomping action, keeping the battles feeling vibrant and exciting.

To celebrate the "Radical Reptiles" launch, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is offering limited-time discounts. Both for the original and special editions of the game.
The Ultimate Edition, including all DLC, is available on Steam for US $32.90 (11% off) and on consoles for US $32.99. The Soundtrack Edition, featuring the original and remixed soundtracks, is available on Steam for $38.23 USD (15% off).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was first launched in 2022. It was developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu under license from Paramount Consumer Products.
Upon its release, the game became a critical and commercial success. Many praised it for its nostalgic return to the classic TMNT universe.
In it, players find themselves battling the villainous Shredder and his goons across iconic locations from the beloved 1987 cartoon. Beyond the Turtles, players can also take control of Master Splinter, April O'Neil, Casey Jones, and even allies Usagi and Karai.
Up to six players can team up locally or online to unleash their signature brawling attacks in this modern take on the classic beat-em-up genre.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was nominated for the Best Action Game and Best Multiplayer at The Game Awards 2022. It was also the top multiplayer game in whatoplay's 2022 Games of the Year.
It received a playscore of 9.0 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
