Nintendo is set to launch its biggest game this year and new, special edition hardware. The Japanese video gaming giant on March 28 made another gameplay reveal for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Nintendo announced that development for the upcoming Zelda title had been completed. They also published two trailer videos. Aside from a 10-minute gameplay video, they dropped a 54-second video unveiling a Zelda-themed Switch system.
In a press release, Nintendo provided more details about its newest device, including its target release date. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch Edition will come out on April 28, days before the game's launch.
It will be an OLED model with a 7-inch display and 64GB internal storage. Nintendo has also begun accepting preorders for the special edition hardware. It is priced at $359.99. Nintendo disclosed that it does not include the game itself. This means players still need to purchase the title separately.
