Shadow Warrior 3, the third installment in a popular FPS series, is coming out this month for new-generation consoles.
Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital have announced that Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition will be available on February 16. Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition will serve as a revamped edition of the game, which first came out in March 2022. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|SM, and PC.
Existing Shadow Warrior 3 owners can get a free upgrade, said Devolver Digital.
In Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition, console owners can play and take control of Lo Wang as he sets out on a quest to recapture an ancient dragon.
Developers said the upcoming game contains tailored enhancements to support haptics and controllers. This means that console players can expect visuals with a resolution of 4K at 30 frames per second (fps).
Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition will also come with new modes. Developers will introduce at least six new modes in the game, including a survival mode and a new difficulty level. The Hardcore Difficulty will be the hardest difficulty level in the Shadow Warrior 3 game. Developers even advised players that it is 'not for the faint-hearted.'
Survival Mode, on the other hand, contains three new battle arenas. Players can access this feature after completing the game's main campaign. Developers announced the addition of Hero Mode, a feature that limits Lo Wang's life to a certain number of respawns.
Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition also supports "New Game Plus," in which players can relive the entire story with additional challenges.
Shadow Warrior 3, the third chapter in the Shadow Warrior series, launched on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 last year. / ###
